Simple Twitter Tracking
Social media is fun, informative and potentially addictive. Its amazing how far a piece of information, such as a post or a url, can travel in a matter of seconds through social media. Because I can get caught up in reading about high school classmates, interesting recipes, spectacular events, etc., I limit my time on any one medium daily. I have found that there is a very quick, simple way to determine if time tweeting on twitter is at all productive. (I am writing this post primarily because i love to type the phrase "time tweeting on twitter.")
There's a very easy-to-use tracking form, on twitter, to show activity for each of your tweets. At the bottom of every tweet you have tweeted on twitter, there are some symbols.
When you click on the 3 vertical lines, this simple tracking form will open.
Impressions are the number of times tweeters on twitter have viewed your tweet. Media views indicate the number of tweeters who clicked any media in the tweet. Total engagements are the number of times someone clicked on a hashtag,URL or something else in the tweet. Link clicks are just that.
This particular tweet had 63 views with the picture I posted being clicked on 7 times. The link was only opened once. Comparing all tracking forms for all your tweets can show patterns that attract attention and stimulate the best responses.
Tweet tracking on twitter is a great way to keep on fishin'!

Hi, James.
I am on the fence with social media.
It is my personal opinion, that the 'Home' has to be first established, prior to 'advertisements' on social media.
I like to know where my horse is. LOL
I am very pleased to be in your circle.
Please let me know if I can assist.
Kindest regards,
Paul.
I agree completely. I don't have "business accounts" on social media, but primarily use a personal account or my site.
