Right and Legal
Information on the internet can be amazingly detailed and.... well....informative. But, despite "About Me" pages, privacy policies and disclaimers, internet information comes from anonymous sources. We can't actually identify sources without a huge amount of time and effort. This often means that anything can be offered or said, on the internet, that without consequence.
I think its always important to do what is right. For example, presenting WA as a free program is not exactly untrue, but not exactly true either. Its up to us to make sure that visitors to our site understand the nature of the program. I think there is a difference between me writing, "This is considered the most productive fishing lure to come along in the last ten years." or adding the phrase, "In my opinion..."
I don't think there is anything illegal about leaving out that little disclaimer. It is sometimes easy to confuse legal and right. Recently, a very public figure was denounced for a great deal of very inappropriate speech and action. He did nothing illegal. He lost his position because his actions were not right.
To paraphrase the Bible: Don't do anything you wouldn't want done to you as you keep on fishin'!

Well, just look at the differences in laws around the world. People can't seem to agree on what people should be allowed to do.
I completely agree! Thanks for sharing! I know this will put some perspective to those that were not necessarily knowing of the difference.
When I was invited to WA it was noted as being free and while I became a member because I believe in what WA is about, it can easily scare people from trying it because they are starting a profile and then see that to become an actual member they have to pay a monthly fee. Again something I am willing to do, because I believe it is a small fee to be a part of an amazing community and that WA can help us all reach our goals.
I just believe a lot of profiles are started but that they never come back to finish the process or even become a premium member because they fee that after becoming a member that there will be other hidden fees, I know I was.

I guess too by now people should realize that nothing is free:( The more steps you take in this program is going to cost,but it is also a cost of doing business,and if you want to succeed you need to follow the steps accurately,and make sure you pay attention as this will be "your bread and butter" (not a bible phrase-LOL:)))) )
I have often felt that I cannot understand why more people do not see this. Doing what is right should always be the better choice.
It is important to do right as you say. First of all doing right leaves us with a clear conscience and makes it easy to sleep at night but, there is always that Grey area between right and wrong. Do what you feel is right and feel good about yourself.
