Keep Working

Many of the questions asked in live chat relate to how long it takes to begin earning a full time income through affiliate marketing. Of course there is no way to answer that question because there are so many variables that affect the outcome of our work. Rather than give any vague time frame, I try to encourage the questioner to learn as much as possible and to develop a routine for using what is learned. I also encourage people to keep going... to persevere not matter what it takes. Thinking about how long it takes to feel completely comfortable at a new job can put things into perspective. How long are people on the job when they stopped learning new things?

I am writing this post both to brag a bit (as you will see) and to encourage WAers to establish a work routine to build their business and to perseverr until they achieve their goals. Recently, my brother-in-law and I decided to rebuild a '78 280Z that my wife bought almost 40 years ago. We both have some mechanical apptitude so we committed ourselves to seeing the project through no matter what.

This picture represents a month of extensive body work which we had not anticipated.

Here's the car redone inside and out. It took hundreds of hours of work. Early on, as we tore the car down, we developed a work routine. Over the weeks, we persevered.

My bragging not withstanding, whether we are aiming to be on page one of google or to earn $5000 monthly with our websites or rebuild a car, we need to be consistent and organized with our work. Its pretty easy to persevere when rebuilding a car because each day some kind of tangible result is seen. This is not always true as we work on our websites. We need to develop a work routine and keep on fishin'!

This is a fantastic lesson in perseverance. "No matter what it takes" is a phenomenal attitude to have and to prove it, just look at that CAR man!!!

Awesome job.

Great analogy.
David

so awesome my friend ,really great job done.

Hard work, perseverance and a good plan will get you to there! Your guys work on the car is proof of that.

She looks fantastic.

Use the training to shape and polish your success!

The 280Z looks beautiful. Well done!

Keep working, surely is the way to arrive at the goals. I have never seen a goal post walk towards the player but the player keeps moving towards the goal post. Once in a while, there is a long shot that makes a hit but they are rare.

Thanks for encouraging.

Hi, Jim, that's like asking the question: "How long is a piece of string?"
Answer: "As long as it needs to be!"

Excellent. Well done.

Wow really nice job, what a beautiful car.. I totally agree, when i was starting out i did get discouraged a lot.. I did a bit of self help and found good ways i can use to keep myself motivated and to keep consistent with a routine. I found that i left go of the end result and i stopped worrying about my goal but i keep my intention toward it and i seem to have a good stress free flow going on,, Law of attraction is a good thing to learn well for me it is..

Thanks for the awesome post!!!

Persistence... do, the next right thing, and income, will, follow!
I, love, that, I'm not focusing, on the money...just putting it, out, right now...Business, start-up, expenses...
One, step, at time...slow, and steady...wins, the race...
