Book Marks

I have found WA courses to be very good. I particularly like the way they build one to the other. At the end of each course, I am amazed that I have actually accomplished something that's not just theoretical. Apart from the courses, training is going on constantly because of the expertise in the WA community. I find that I just can't keep up with all the useful information in trainings and posts. So, I save the things that are seem like they would be useful. Today I decided to take stock of what I have saved. I have 159 WA posts in a google file called, surprisingly enough, "WA posts." I have 83 book marked websites that seemed like they would be useful. I have 45 training emails saved for future review. I am not even sure how to cull all this information until I have looked at everything. How do you save useful information offered by the WA community? Do you ever get back to it once its saved? I guess I just don't want to miss anything. Keep on fishing'!

Hi James you can actually save posts/ training directly here within WA
Create a favourite the white star at the top left of the post.
Add a tag
Save

To find favourites
Tap the white star in the question bar in the top menu there will be a drop down menu with all your saved posts etc
Works a treat I like it because it keeps everything in the one place.

Thanks Alexander, great to know.

Great tip - thanks

I create folders in my email account for various topics and everything I get from any source goes in there. I started a NotePad document(s) that is held in my file explorer on various topics and urls are copied and pasted into it.

I have many books marks with a LOT of the materials in them and I keep everything on the computer so it can be copied, pasted and otherwise used for anything I need it (them) for...

Hello Dr. James, I use the tag option in Wealthy Affiliate (WA) and bookmark those internet sites in my favourites. Have not returned to any of them yet.

Hi drjec. I think it is all about good time organization. One technique You might use is (if You use Gmail account) to create maps in Gmail and put the emails with all the notifications about courses or training in those maps, relative to the topics. That way You can always refer to the topic and course You want to listen or read.

The other technique could be just to write down (copy - paste in a notepad app or Word) in one list the web addresses of the courses (instead of always bookmarking them) and then later on refer to the course, training, info You want to accomplish.

The third technique could be just to record the videos or copy-paste the text and keep them save in several maps on your PC.

You may also save all the material on a stick drive or on one external drive or even to create two partition of your main hard drive and use one of them just for such purpose... for example....

Hope it helps a bit...

I am doing the same thing...I have gone back and looked at a couple of training sessions and a blog or two..Keith

Hi Drjec, you are well orgainsed. Irv.

Thanks, not sure if you ever get back to them unless you have a weekly / monthly schedule!

I am planning to put in two hours a week reviewing the things I have saved and eliminating what I won't use. My problem is that I never do the two hours.

I know what you mean with saving information, there's so much useful info here you end up saving everything you read which defeats the object
So far, I've only favourited posts onto my Profile using the "star" feature. I need to organise it using more relevant tags to ensure I can easily find it and yes I often to back to them to review.

You've highlighted something I should do though, saving info to Google Docs. It's what I do with every post I create before publishing it so I could do it with trainings too.

I agree with info overload, I'll probably die before I've been through everything and I hope I have at least 50 years left lol

I use external hard drives that I save a lot of useful stuff on, as I learned my lesson when I lost a lot of files way back.
Thanks for the share.
Cheers Tosh :)

That's a great idea. I don't know why I didn't think of that.

Thanks for sharing.
