A Tip: Work from an Outline
At WA, we are taught to select a niche from our interests, passions and experiences. In this niche, there is a wealth of ideas for website posts and pages. Once an idea becomes a theme for an article, we need to write the article. Writing is the real work.
Its old-school, but I suggest writing every article from an outline. This is particularly true for the novice writter. An outline helps organize thoughts. When pasted into a draft post or page, its a visual reminder of every relevant thought while allowing for new, spur of the moment ideas to be added when they come to mind. Instead of manipulating whole sentences, phrases or words are manipulated until they are in exactly the right place in the article. Once thoughts are complete and in order, writing can begin.
There is no more thinking, "What was that funny example I wanted to use?". The outline is created, changed and reviewed until it is the structure of the article. Then writing begins simply by turning outline words or phrases into sentences. But, writing is a bit easier because the whole article is already right there.
Googling "outlining" brings up lots of free tutorials. If you haven't used an outline in your writing process, I suggest you check it out. Once learned, outlining is an easy process that will greatly improve your writing and help you keep on fishin'.
