Working Late.But Moving Foward With Affiliate Porgram Join Ups

Hi friends, just a quick post this evening as I've been working like a dog today doing further affiliate training. I watched Kyle's 22 minute video on getting familiar with Affilaite Marketing. It really starts to make sense how all this is going to come together. But some programs I have to say were very lengthy to join up with. There is so much info you gotta put in. They want to know what you've had for breakfast basically!

The worst one to use (it's an absolute nightmare) is Commission Junction. Every time you make an edit (such as tax or payment info), you have to re-type your password in this box that comes up (even though you're already on the platform and identified yourself) and then you get a verification code to type in (as an extra hair pulling bonus). That is just utter nonsense. I have never (and I've been using computers since 2001) seen such a security overkill in my life. So, fellow WA members, if you join up with them be prepared for frustration!

But at the end of today I've done 6 affiliate program join ups with full description, website, payment and tax info - which is not too bad, considering how long they take to do.

They are:

Commission Junction (grrr!)
Share the Sale
Awin
Clickbank
Ecotric
Amazon (Kyle mentioned the relatively low commission rate and he's right, however, don't dismiss them too early. They have huge potential, literally millions of products)

Also, as I'm writing this, just got a notification on my phone that another of my posts have been indexed by google, not bad going. Finishing off for today and having some dinner soon (its 9:50 pm my time!). I haven't quite got to the point where I'm burning that midnight oil just yet; but I can see that happening!
