Hi Everyone!

Do you know that you can make your own garlic paste at home and it will last you a month if kept in the fridge!

You can use the peeled garlic cloves from the shop or peel them yourself. First let me tell you the easiest way to peel garlic. Get two moderately deep round bowls about 6 - 8 inches deep and wide. Put your unpeeled garlic cloves into the bowl and cover the top with the other bowl. Shake it vigorously for about 2 - 8 minutes, depending on the number of garlic cloves inside. And when you remove the top bowl, voila! You have your peeled garlic cloves.

In a frying pan, heat a little oil and add the garlic cloves and saute for a few minutes on medium fire. Do not burn the garlic. When aroma arises, add a little salt and remove from fire. Set aside and let it cool. Grind into paste or chop finely in a chopper and transfer it into a bottle. Do not close the lid until it cools completely. Leave it in the fridge and use whenever necessary. Lasts up to a month.

Please note: No water should be added to the garlic while grinding or chopping; if necessary just add a little cooking oil to soften the paste.

Cheers!
