My Point Of View
Hey Y'all
This is a quick post about point of view. Take a minute and look at the image above. Is this a picture of a sun set or a sun rise?
Some of us may have a bit of an advantage I live very close to the water so I have been privileged to many of each........... Let's leave that for now..........
I don't know if you have heard the sad news. Forrest Gump had a accident with his shrimp boat. It is rumored he thought he saw his beloved Jenny and ran aground.
Unfortunately he was killed in the accident. It is not certain at this time whether Capt. Dan or Forrest Jr. will take over the company.
When Forrest arrived at the Pearly Gates he was shocked to find out from St. Peter that he had to pass a test to get thru. He informed St. Peter of his good works to no avail. St. Peter told him that he knew about his love for his momma, that he had only loved one woman, that he was a good father, and built a grand church, but he still had to pass the test.
Forrest was nervous and told St. Peter as much. St. Peter assured him that it was an easy test. Only three simple questions and that he could think about it overnight.
St. Peter laid the three questions out for Forrest.
What days of the week start with the letter "T"?
How many seconds are there in a year? and.....
What is God's first name?
Forrest went off nervously not knowing if he was going to be able to pass the test or not. Those were some hard questions. He thought long and hard all night. The following morning met up he met up with St. Peter.
"Well Forrest what is the answer to the first question"? St. Peter asked
"I thought hard on this and figured it out the answer is Today and Tomorrow" Forrest replied.
St. Peter told Forrest that wasn't the answer he had in mind but he could see his point. So he allowed him to pass to the next question.
"What did you come up with for the second answer Forrest"? asked St. Peter
"This was a tough one but i finally got he answer, there are 12 seconds in a year". he replied happily!
St. Peter shook his head in bewilderment "I am sorry Forrest that is not the answer. But I am curios how did you come up with it"?
"Well there is January second, February second, March second.....that adds up to12" explained Forrest.
St. Peter told Forrest that wasn't the answer he had in mind but he could see his point. So he allowed him to pass to the next question.
Before St. peter could ask for the last answer Forrest said "God's first name is Andy" with a proud look on his face.
By now St Peter figured Forrest had an explanation for his answer even tho he didn't agree. So he asked what it was.
Forrest replied "This was the easiest one God's name is in the song we sing every Sunday St. Peter Andy walks with me... Andy talks with me."
St. Peter had no choice even tho all of Forrest's answers weren't what he thought the answers should be he had to let him pass.
Until next time,

Looks like sunrise to me.Though, I can't be sure if course..A very nice story, Tim... thanks...:)
Thanks for reading Vera. I guess I will have to steal a page from your play book and reveal the answer tomorrow.
I couldn't agree with you more.
Another point that I would like to add is my "mousetrap" analogy.
If you go to a hardware store to get a mouse trap, you see many of them. Wood traps, metal traps, plastic traps, expensive traps, inexpensive traps, and so on. But, they have one thing in common.................they all catch mice. Would it be fair to call any of the mousetraps perfect? I don't think so due to the fact that you will have one person saying that there mousetrap is the best with the other claiming the same thing. A single claim that all of the mousetrap makers can say is they all will catch a mouse.
Hopefully that gives another perspective.
Thanks for bringing this to the table.
Greg
Haha, I find people endlessly fascinating with all the different ways at looking at the same thing, but I especially love that God's first name is Andy! Thanks so much for this Tim :)

That brought a smile to my face Tim awesome, the funny thing is that I can see Forrest saying that, as to sunrise or set it depends on what coast you are on east or west?
Damn....that was my question Alexander..we were obviously seperated at birth...lol! But I have one over you, Forrest didn't mention twenty second, so by his own omission he doesn't get in! But I get the point!
