Hello,

Just went premium, and before I start getting traffic to my site, I want to protect myself with a disclaimer, as my site is offering information/advice on health

No experience on the subject, but I'd have a privacy policy, affiliate disclaimer, and fitness website disclaimer. https://www.warriorforum.com/main-internet-marketing-discussion-forum/245172-fitness-website-disclaimer-legal.html

In my opinion you can go to these sites that have the same problem and copy theirs. If your site is centered around this type of information you could write a general statement that you link to. If you occasionally write a medical related article, I would just write the disclaimer in the article that this is applicable upon.
You can start with it in your article, put it in a sidebar widget or put it on the bottom of each article that you have written that has no medical advice intent. You will see that all the medical disclaimers are generally written with the following lines:

"The Content is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay in seeking it because of something you have read on this Website."
If you copy paste this piece of text you will find that it is the content of all websites without medical advice. Since everybody uses it, it is a general disclaimer.

On one blog I read this first: "Alzheimer’s News Today is strictly a news and information website about the disease. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. " following by the earlier "the content is..." sentence.

P.S. If you do happen to make a medical-disclaimer page on your site, make sure you put no-index on it just like you would with a privacy policy.

Steven

Just use this if you want to create a page for it. I saved it now for future reference as a template within my SiteContent template section:

Running into some trouble with the sidebar footer feature on my site. I made a new sidebar footer widget. I also created a new menu that only have my privacy policy page on it.

Thanks for replying! I just checked it out again, and it's working find now...weird... lol.

Have you figured this out yet? Font color is a good suggestion. Would probably need to get the URL of your website to figure out the issue if that's not it.

Brok

Check the font color of your link on your footer. If can be found on customize.
