I understand why we're told not to over-think picking our niche and that's because this is our playground and we're likely to move on to something different when we get the hang of what we're doing. So before you build a site 'bigger than Ben Hurr', you might want to reign yourself in and think small and high quality.

Lets face it, if your secret passion is pencils, you're going to have to refer a boatload of people to buy yourself a cup of coffee or you could refer just one person who buys a whirlpool bath, life insurance policy or mobile phone.

I can be interested in just about anything or as my girlfriend used to say ' just as easy to love a rich man as a poor man'. About time I can take advantage of that little tidbit!
