Personally it makes everything so real. It’s good to know that we’re connected to people who really care and to know what they’ve gone through or going through.

I’ve never done that before either. The about me’s are great, though and you can learn so much about people and their sites from reading them :)

So true, it is always good to drop by the about me page to get a feel for where the creator is coming from and it gives that personal appeal as well.

It makes things more personal. I like to know who I am buying from. I would rather support a local mom and pop where the owners care about their customers as opposed to larger companies who only care about revenue. The same applies to online marketing and content.
