Update on SCALELAB...
Here's a quick update on my inquiry into SCALELAB, a YouTube channel promotional organization, for you all.
In reality there's not a whole lot to go on. Of the people that I talked to, no one really has anything bad to say about them. However, on the other hand, no one really has anything good to say about them.
Their main plug seems to be that for a percentage of the profits that you may procure from your YouTube channel, they will increase your channel's traffic through whatever means they supposedly have, including other affiliates such as you might be if you were to subscribe to their membership.
What your cost would be is still vague and doesn't appear to be readily available until you are actually contacted by a member there after emailing them your name, contact email address and YouTube channel link. At this point, someone will get back to you with more details and info.
SCALELAB does tout having multiple tools that will be available to you after coming aboard. They are actually located in Santa Monica, Ca. and have a number on their website that you can contact them with if you're interested. (scalelab.com)
Hope this'll give ya' a bit more information in case you just out of the blue get a message and a phone call like I did!

Ya' know Gordi, with all of those platforms out there, you would think that these guys would do something to set themselves apart. Their website looks good and the CEO seems to have great credentials but without something to go on, I'm keeping my feet on the ground. Thanks Gordi!
Hi Randy. I've not looked into this at all, so can't really add any useful info. My instincts are firing off warning signs. But with all the garb out there, it's a bit of a natural reaction these days. The good sometimes gets lost with all the other junk taking front and centre position.
I see Bloveds commented on your other blog that she was having a bit of a problem with phone calls. I don't like giving out phone numbers as that's a good indication of possibly being pestered down the track. Also, regarding costs, if they are not reasonably upfront to a certain degree - well that's not always a good sign.
Let us know how you get on, or if they are any good.
You are so right, Annie. I really enjoy having a YT channel, but it's always kinda been for my enjoyment and sharing with people and I've never worried about making money with it or never really thought about getting more traffic.
So when I got a call from this guy, the flags all went up and I quickly backed away. But, I can imagine what it would be like to desperately be attempting to make money off of my channel and getting suckered into something. It would be nice if there was more info available but I just couldn't seem to locate any true testimonials on this organization.
