MailChimp vs. Mad Mimi
Well Friends, I need your opinion on MailChimp vs. Mad Mimi. I need a freebie autoresponder for my Amazon affiliate site C&FC. But, I really don't need any of the junkie pop-ups and stuff that is sometimes associated with freebies that sends readers into a tail spin as soon as they click on the "Sign Up Now" button. Or, is List Wire better... I don't know and I'm not familiar whatsoever with any of these.

I actually use Aweber myself and they are very good. I cannot review on these other ones as have not used them. I chose Aweber because I heard reviews they are the best out there and I am happy with the great training provided to set up to do email marketing. I don't mind paying so I am not going to be limited to the growth I would like to achieve. All the best in choosing what works for you. :)))
Thank ya' Abigail... I'll probably wind up with Aweber when I'm at the point of paying for one. I've heard over and over that it is the best!
I don't know which is better, or worse, but try to stay with one auto-responder that will handle all your needs. Less trouble if you have to move DNS and other information around. And some Auto-Responders that are free will limit your usage.

I had a horrible time with mail chimp. The plugin never would recognize that I had everything set up on the site. Mad Mimi I have now and have everything set up but I cant figure out how to make my autoresponse work. I had to step away from it for a few days lol. DON'T use Listwire. I signed up but never used to because someone told me they sell your email lists. Before I even got a list I was receiving spam myself. You can also look into plugins. I've had a few members tell me that's what they use and works fine.
I plan to go back and look at some when I'm done being mad at autorepsonders. lol

Kyle recommends aweber. I use mailchimp but only because I had it before getting into WA. Once I hit the magic number where MC starts charging, I'll switch to aweber. Hope this helps and God Bless! ~Cathy

I am using MailChimp for mailing lists. I create and send mails through MailChimp interface and have no issues whatsoever.
I am yet to try the WordPress front end part of it - plugin, subscriptions, ...
Since I don't have more that 20.000 recipients I'll stick with it for now. Interface is clean and clear, reports are quite usable, ...
Don't know about Mad Mimi ...
