Your Best Tips and Tricks for Product Review Videos

I hope this finds everyone enjoying the new year thus far. I've been with Wealthy Affiliate for a few months and am still working through the training. I've learned so much but still have much more to learn, but it's all exciting. I'd like to pose a question about creating product reviews. Recently I was gifted a camera (Nikon D5100) to take nice photos and videos with and I'd like to start using it to create product review videos for my site. Would anyone have any kind of tips and tricks to creating quality videos at a beginner's level? Any and all advice would be much appreciated.

Congratulations on getting the camera. I'm a Canon person myself.
I have some books I bought on the topic that I bought at Barnes & Noble.
My favorite is a book called, "How to Shoot Video that Doesn't Suck" by Steve Stockman. It basically has 77 tips practical tips. It is not overly technical.
I was able to get the book new for $13.95 . Let's just say that it doesn't have a bunch of glossy pictures.

Thank you so much, I'll have to check that book out. There are some great tutorials on YouTube as well, but it can be overwhelming. I've yet to shoot any footage yet but am planning on it soon!
