have you installed your widgets for comment form?

I've just spent the last 30 minutes looking for the comments widgets....where ARE they? Can't seem to find them myself either!

Have you solved your problem? If you cannot find, you may not have installed the plugin, I'm sorry not in the widgets. You have to add it in the plugin, choose from WordPress comment form.

Fair enough...plugin sounds like what's missing..will have a look for it! Thanks! =)

What Gary Horton Said

Great question and answers

I hope you sort it out soon, Don. I think GaryHorton may have the answer as that was my problem at one stage.
Carol

I had the same issue as ppattaraprad. There is not a comment box. The only box is the jaxxy box. Let us know when the issue is resolved, and I will be happy to leave a comment.

I don't found your leave comment box.
I found one text LEAVE COMMENT and it's JAAXY KEYWORD SEARCH.

Please check your setting each page (mark accept comment)

I just checked again. Certain pages there is a comment box and others do not. I did see a leave a comment link on the left but when I clicked on it it led to another page.

I want to tell you that it was hard to find out where to leave you a comment on your page when I dropped by. I had to click on the word "comments" in the left sidebar to find a place to comment. I was able to successfully leave a comment as seen in the picture. I started off at this site: http://workanywhereyouwant.com

When I clicked the word comments, I ended up here: http://workanywhereyouwant.com/how-to-live-a-laptop-lifestyle-part-2#comments

I then tried clicking on each of the menu items starting at the left to see if there were places on each of those pages/posts to leave a comment. It wasn't until I go to the Youtube Marketing page/post that I was able to find another place to leave a comment. None of the other page/posts linked on the menu had places to leave comments.

Later, I clicked on each of the "Latest Posts." Only one allowed me to leave a comment, and it turned out to be the same post where I left you a comment as seen in the picture. (http://workanywhereyouwant.com/work-anywhere-you-want)

I got your comment Ms. Becky. Thank you! I should be okay now. I just had to enable comments on all my posts, pages and future comments.

I went to your homeschooling website and looked at your different articles and posts. What a treasure! I left a comment.

Congratulations on your meteoric rise in the rankings, since Day 1 in the Top 200 on the fourth, to 154 today!

Cheers!
Don

That's strange, if the option is there to leave it.
Sounds like it got redirected to your website instead.

Did any of those disabled plugins have anything to do with comments?

Disabled plugs do not affect anything when they are disabled.

Some members have plugins for comments. If Don did and it's disabled that may have caused the issue.

Yes if he disabled it and was using it then it would not if it was disabled. Some plugins that are active that have nothing to do with comments can cause issues also.

That's true Bo, thanks!

I think I got it Ms. Ambassador. Thanks for the concern. That's why you just moved up 1 after staying at 20 for 4 days.

I think I got it Bo. I am from the time before Computers and Smart Phones, so... LOL! Stole that from your profile...

Hi Don, what ended up being the problem?
I'm happy you got it fixed!

Ohhh this is why I moved up one notch...thanks for letting me know I didn't even notice! I wasn't expecting to even be one and not used to it. The only way to not be one is to stop helping members with my posts and that I won't do :)

I didn't have the comments enabled on all of my pages and posts.

LOL. Well, I didn't mean it the way I wrote it. I meant to say you moved up one notch because you care. It's your nature. We can't help it. We're not going to stop helping members and being caring. I'm glad I'm following you, Ms. Patsy!

Cheers!
Don

The same thing happened to me.
Now when I write a post I add that. I have a list on what needs to be done to a post before publishing it.
I went to find that list and here it is! Thanks Don I appreciate what you said about my moving up a notch. It can be taken both ways.

I'm glad to be following you too Mr. Don :)

We come for the same time. LOL

Hi, Don!

I think you haven't enabled comments on all of your pages and posts. This training will show you how. Gary

Thanks Gary! I'll get on this right now!

Finally able to do it Gary. Thanks again.

What if I point a link to WA training posts from my website, who gets the referral if the reader signs up? The author of the training posts? Or me?

I hope it's me! Other

Don,
Check this part of the training, it is covered there:

not sure...maybe ask site support or admin

THE AUTHOR I THINK

Good idea.

Every training page has your affiliate link on it. As long as you use that link you will get credit for it. I do remember however in Kyle's training video that he said only the basic membership videos will be able to be seen by a user. The premium videos may lead the user to the page but they won't be able to see the video since the user isn't a premium member yet. This is why he suggested to use the "classrooms".

Thank you for this information Dee. I guess I missed the part where Kyle mentions this. Or I haven't gotten to it yet. So use the "classrooms" only. Got it.

Cheers!
Don

Yes, he did mention that the classrooms links to the left was basic member training whereas live video classes are for premium members only so even if you use your affiliate link they won't be able to play the video. I believe they will get a pop up saying that is only for premium members if they try and play it, so best to use basic membership training.

Triblu answered this question beautifully. If you do what she recommends, you'll get credit for the referral.

if you use your link then the should sign up with you.

Your more than welcome to use the affiliate link here is one that I use
You will see it's your link

you do if you use your affiliate link

How do I point to the exact training using my affiliate link?

Hey Don,

At the top of EVERY post, training and/or question is a button with "Affiliate" (without the quotation marks, of course) on it. When you click it, a small box opens up offering YOUR affiliate link.

This you would place in Pretty Link to make it less confusing to users:

go to the training and there will be a affiliate button click it and there should be a link. If you post to Face Book for example it pulls up the address with that link and the picture with the link. for example this is what I just posted to my groups in face book I belong to.

One of my co-workers here in the Dallas, Texas area, asked me today if I can build a website for her daughter who either owns or manages a hair salon in the DFW Metroplex. Do y

Hey Don as I was looking for a website I came across some for salon. Just go to website builder and type salon in search. Hope this helps.

I know somebody here who has her own product and I said you can promote that if you join WA. And her answer was, can I promote it abroad.

To her maybe is just advertising and not writing anything but as for me, my invitation is to have her a website and write something about her product.

I recommend she sign up for WA..she may get hooked once she tries it.. There are all kinds of affiliate programs related to hair products!

I could potentially help. Send me a pm to talk further...

As Erin, said Donny, get her to join WA.
Hang on I will give you my details she can sign up on my page hahaha

That's a good one Brad!

Thanks Cindy

It is one of my Niches. You can do it yourself. Just use it as your test site as you go through the training. Building a website is super easy.

WA is a great place to learn how. Kyles training works.

There some Industry things that you will have to do but she will know what they are.

tell her to join WA

I like that one Erin

Ha ha! Great idea, Erin! I'll let her know!

Cheers!
Don

no problem! This site is great for any online business so I know it will help her out.

Don, Can you do it together maybe!

Now, this sounds like a good idea Ms. Carol. Maybe, you and her together? Or you and someone else?

I replied to Wayne on this thread regarding my own selfish reasons as to why I don't want to get involved.

Thanks for the suggestion! And again, thanks for being one of the first of my WA friends to replace some of my undesirable FB "friends."

Cheers!
Don

Oh, thank you, Don. I understand your 'selfish' reasons as you called them as that is your focus and priority! Keep marching onwards!

Try the free option on this Don! https://www.rosysalonsoftware.com/

I sent my co-worker the URL, Michael. I'll let you know what she says. Thank you for the suggestion.

Cheers!
Don

Don, Why don't you build it?

Wayne

Didn't even cross my mind this morning, Wayne, when my co-worker asked me. I really want to focus on my own website getting to a respectable first-page Google ranking, before I venture doing other things or I'd be spreading my self even thinner.

I did contemplate a little while I was typing up the question but, I want a laser focus on this one goal for my website to get ranked with the SEO heavyweights of the digital world.

Would you consider building it, Wayne?

Cheers!
Don

thanks, Don, however, I am just too busy with mine and only have a very limited time due to my full-time work. Thanks for asking. You may get some people here willing to do that.

Do you search for new keywords when adding new content or do you use the same keywords over and over?

I can see the use of different keywords initially, but won't you ru

For sure.

Like Michael said, variety is the spice of life.

Even on a very narrow niche you should be able to constantly come up with new keywords.

The point isn't to recap the same stuff over and over.

Instead, focus on "long tail keywords". Get specific. Link these very detailed articles back to a piece of "corner stone content".

That cornerstone content should be something that is broad and general that you could (if you so desired) link to various (or all) of the other pages.

As you write, think about the things you are writing about and spin off on other topics.

Write the topics down as soon as they come to mind or you WILL forget them (I've forgotten more potential articles than I've EVER written).

Imagination and clever wit, that's the key to the words and phrases. ;)

Sometimes they say that experience speaks wonders. Thank you Mr. Kelly for answering with flair and reader comprehension in mind.

Regards,
James

It's ok to use new keywords. There are so many key words and variations that running out of key words is unlikely or will take a long time

I think when you update your content with new content The keywords are new will make your site ranking better

Hey Don,I was recently doing some training, funnily enough.... where i was asked to come up with low hanging fruit keywords.
I ended up coming up with in a short period of time 25 different topics containing keywords with low QSR but all related to my niche to write about. My biggest problem is then/now researching each topic and writing unique content.
In short i look for new keywords first.
All the best mate.
Matt.

I read a while back that Google doesn't like repeated keywords. It wants a variety.

I search for keywords with every post, starting with the title. Not all of your titles are going to be the same.

I incorporate variation into my wording Don!

Good Question. I was wondering about that too. Looking forward to the answers

I use 1 keyword per post or page. I don't think you can run out of keywords. Once content starts flowing you continually think of new ideas and therefore new keywords

I do pretty much every time or I return to some of my saved search results.

I was thinking about the saved lists to go back to as well. Thanks for sharing what you do,

So, you're from California? My son was born in Pleasanton. Just a bit down the road from you.

Do you use business cards or flyers to promote WA? If you do, please share how you do it. If you're thinking of doing it, please let us know how you plan to do it.

I've

Good Morning Don,

Michael has those clever sheets of paper on which one can print one's own cards at home. On the front my address and phone number and on the back my email and 2 websites. I always have them in my handbag. Now when I meet somebody I always ask if they speak English to be able to say: here is my card, have a look at my websites.

Greetings from the south of Spain, Taetske

This is a question that I had in the back of my mind, but did not feel that I was far enough along in the process to benefit from them yet. I was still wondering about once I got up and things "settled" about them. I look forward to the feed back from others too.

Hi Don, am going for a conference soon, hence i will put together a business card for my business. I normally give away my work one during my networking session, but I want to turn this around. If am going for a network that is not work related but business.

I will include my website (hopefully enough WA links to create a bit of curiosity), telephone number and my social media.

Don, Business Cards are an intriguing thing in today's electronic world.

I plan on having business cards in a few months when I get further along. They may seem old school, but I believe they are still a valuable sales/marketing tool.

I have to share a recent experience that I believe shows how creativity (combined with Patriotism) can be leveraged with business cards.

We are in Canada and this past Saturday was Canada Day. We awoke to find two small (about 12" X 10") Canadian flags positioned at the front of our lawn. When we looked down our street, every house on both sides of the street had received the same "gift". I walked up to the signs and found a Realtor's business card stapled to the lower left hand corner of each flag. I immediately thought, what a clever marketing ploy.

I emailed and thanked the Realtor - we are now connected, so if and when we need an agent, he is now on our list.

WOW!!! That is clever indeed! Some people may have found it annoying, but I'm sure there were some who took the bait. Very clever!

Yes, I use business cards to promote my WA promotional website legitimatejobfromhome.com and it is on that website that I have affiliate links to WA.

Seeing how having professional looking business cards printed up is very inexpensive, I am thinking of having another batch of cards printed up that showcase just my affiliate link but after I put it through the Pretty Links plugin.

I wrote a WA blog, see link below, about using business cards to get people to your website. The same action can be taken when promoting your affiliate link. Just pass them out to people once you have them in a relevant discussion.

Well, of course, I'll be taking a look...

This is just my viewpoint. If you are good enough and smart enough to be an entrepreneur you should follow your own rules. If not an easy way is just to trade your boss for Kyle and follow WA. I think I'm smart enough to do my own thing and follow my own rules. If I were to promote wa I would use Flyers more than business cards.

Offline promotion is always a good addition to a marketing plan.

Tinyurl is a good idea. Makes it easy for people to type and get quick access to your website. Downside is people can get suspicious of where the tinyurl will lead to. Better still to show your full url and say that tinyurl leads to same website.

A more popular alternative these days, especially because of mobile phones, is QR Code. Display one on your card or flyer and invite people to scan and visit your website.

You'll be surprised how much more willing people are too scan QR Codes these days. Especially with more AR (Augmented Reality) around - made more popular by Pokemon Go.

Yes, I use business cards, I throw them around under my family and friends, not directly to promote WA but to make them notice my websites and affiliate links.

Don - Jim, handle name drjec uses them.

He has a fishing niche website "Keep On Fishin" and promotes it offline using business cards.

I've read several of his posts and he hands them out at presentations and to just about anyone he meets.

Check out his profile. He maybe able to help out.

I'll be using business cards as soon as I finalize a logo, Don. I haven't formulated any other plans or even what terminology will be on my business cards.

I just know that there always seems to be an opportunity to give one out and I never have one in my wallet when I need it.

I made some for my CandFC site but always run out of them in my wallet and forget to put more in. I'm in the process of redoing that logo also so it'll be a while before I print up more of those cards.

I also bought a heat press several years ago and make my own t-shirts with my site logos on them. I really enjoy the engagement that I get with folks when I'm standing in line somewhere and someone asks or mentions something!!!

Best wishes my friend!

Your response shows evidence of longevity and experience and sure enough, you'll soon be getting your 5-year WA Anniversary badge! Congratulations, Randy!

Cheers!
Don

Thank you Don, truly appreciated!
