My First Referral

Last Update: September 18, 2019

Well, I'll be. I got my first referral yesterday.

Now - I've been around WA for a number of years. But I told myself I would not try to push this program until I was personally satisfied that you really could make money by building a website. NOT by selling more people into WA, but through a website itself. So I worked away, added content, expanded to two more websites, created some sites for other people, branched off into travel and bookings, and then it all came together. I'm getting regular rentals on my travel site (at $900 a pop), and the traffic on my baking site is bringing in some nice supply money on the side.

So, I figured it was time to start touting my personal success with WA through my baking and travel websites and through a new site dedicated just to sharing the details about how Wealthy Affiliate training helped me profit from my hobbies. And by taking the affiliate training and simply placing a WA banner on my sites, I made a new friend who is excited to begin this journey.

Sunday I leave on a cruise to Baja - and because I've set up an LLC, and I write about my travels with recommendations, I can include a portion of it as a business expense! I can unequivocally say, Being Part of Wealthy Affiliate Has Changed My Life. Thanks to all who have helped me along the way.

Congrats Don. Sounds like you know what you are doing. I incorporated my Personal Training/ Nutrition business 12 years ago as an "S" Corporation.

So many people miss out on all the advantages of incorporating. It is not hard to do and being able to take advantage of all the deductions is worth every cent.

Learn and use Quickbooks(easy), hire a good CPA, and the rest is gravy. I am switching my training business online and all of this training here at WA is 100% tax-deductible.

Writing off trips to train people in other countries is in my plan. It is deductible also. I am 3 steps ahead of those dumbasses at the IRS and FATCA.

Nice meeting you.
Have a great cruise.

Making a living, making a difference.

Exactly! We use Quickbooks, too. Very easy and at tax time I print out my reports and good to go.
