It's Been a While
Hello everyone. It's been a while since I've been active on WA. I picked up a couple of contracts with my old work, traveled to Mexico for a few months and was generally lazy. But recently, Colorado changed their laws to allow residents to become Amazon vendors, so I have jumped back into my website. Over the past few days I've tested three recipes and posted them online. I also have been revamping all of my advertising, focusing solely on Amazon stock. On my first day, I've seen 11 Amazon clicks, so I think I'm on the right track.
Previously, without Amazon, I could only use Rakuten or eBay - both fine companies with good products. But my sales rate was pretty terrible. I did sell a little - like I said on some earlier posts, I would snag a sale here and there. Overall, I made about $135 - mostly from one particular blog entry.
I have much higher hopes with Amazon. If you're a Prime member, shipping is free, so that's not a hindrance. And the range of products available is amazing. One of my recipes calls for natural coconut flavor (which is really hard to find in a store.) A few clicks and I have at least 10 different versions available from Amazon. All at good prices.
So, you'll probably see me around a bit more. Check out my site at bakingnaturally.org if you have a spare minute. I keep building and revising it. When I make one of my recipes, I go back and add some new pics or tweak an ingredient. I scour through old family cookbooks to find ones that aren't copyrighted. I hope my friends and family aren't getting too fat with all the food! But no complaints so far.
Go forth and do good things.
