Tip of the day 25
Today's tip is about how to effectively use your time as an affiliate marketer. I generally start off with a nice cup of coffee for those dull moments and blank stares. (10 min)
When I actually start my work for the day I go through my emails first and check for new sales and respond to everyone that had questions during the night. This includes any WA member signups that posted goals or put up new profiles that I need to comment on. These people are highest priority. (30 min)
Then I get my tip of the day going on the WA website. You might want to start some sort of daily blog on the WA site just to get you in the writing mode. I like the tip of the day thing because it may help one or two people. It's like a two birds with one stone. I help someone and get into the zone. (30 min)
I them quickly follow six new folks in the WA community and give them a nice welcome message. This is nice to do even if it is not your referral because it shows you care about others success as well as your own. (5 min)
Then I congratulate six people on going premium as well. It only takes a few minutes and it makes them feel good and welcome here. (5 min)
Next I look to help 5 people in the WA platform within the Activity dashboard (20 min)
Then I leave the WA platform and look to comment inside my niche on other blogs (30 min)
On to social media for a quick look around and see if anything is new on my profiles. Then I try to post something new on one of them each day and I have a rotation going for them. (20 min)
Lastly, I work on the main content for my site for at least two hours. This can be much longer but I try to get the bulk of my day focused on what makes the money. (120 min minimum)
That's 4.5 hours that I try to spend on my business each day at minimum. Now I have three kids, a wife and a dog that all pull me away from time to time and it doesn't always work out that way. The point is that I have a plan for everything that I would like to work on throughout the day. Nothing has to get finished I just make sure that I am only spending a certain amount of time on the smaller things that do not relate to the main content of my blog.

Your day seems somewhat like mine.
Ya it doesn't always go as planned and I'm sure I will adjust it as I get deeper into affiliate marketing but it works for now. I want to add in email marketing to my day so I can build an email list. I just need to work with mail chimp more and find an easy way to set it all up.
I use mail chimp. I use it as an email handler along with an optin plugin. It is great, just not a large following yet. It does post to my social media sites too.
