That's exactly what I did. I raceed ahead in the Bootcamp training and fell behind. JI cam to a realization that Wealthy Affiliate is comprehensive and needs to be studied in depth. When I was in school, I could study and retain enough to get great grades; I had a 4.0 average in college. But knowledge needs to be worked to be valualble. And I was not working.I've renewed my commitment and am going through the training again, bit by bit. As I do, I am revisiting posts and improving them by addi

Almost done!I had a website with WIX. With add-ons it was more expensive than WA and had little of the training. I admit that the site builder is great for a starter but has nowhere close to the features here.I installed a theme, added my favorite plugins, and am ready to add content. As soon as I finish my About post, Affilitate disclaimer, and and a few other things, it will start moving along. My First SiteI based my first site on Bootcamp. I will make my second site following the online cer

Starting OverI've started over several times. For a while, I was racing ahead. I wanted to learn it all and learn it quickly. Ha! After 3 full months I've learned that it doesn't work that way. I suppose I earned bad habits in school, even as a college student in my 40s. I studied hard enough to pass exams with great grades. But I didn't retain much of what I learned with the exception of subjects that i needed in my daily work. Now, nearly 30 years later, I find those bad habits still get in th

First Class in Tai Chi ever.Last night, a first class. I learned the introductory move, which 8 of us racticed ffor an hour. It's hard to believe the changes. Last night, arriving home, I could barely stay awake until sundown. When I retired for the evening, I slept like a log. Today, I'm bursting with energy. I finished two "get ready for fall projects, went through my posts checking links and refining content, and soon I'll be off to drop off a clothing donation.Part of the class says to do wh

Lots of MailThis morning I opened my email to see about 76 new Wealthy Affiliate emails. Wow. It looks to me like a fair amount of time to go through them all and I have a throttled down internet. It may take several hours. I will work on training and post updates first. I wonder if the number of emails will exceed 100 by then. What to do...What to do? More followers = more emails. It all seems highly time-consuming. I'm looking for comments from the pros to gain insights into how they deal with

Reviews from last weekI humbly thank all of you who reviewed some of my posts and pages this past week. I totally appreciate each and every one. Some reviews are glowing and some are fine-tuned to help me shape improvements. I find value it all of them. I find it difficult to review others sites, a flaw I am working very hard on. I often wonder how a 3 month member such as me can evaluate and contribute to the veteran bloggers here. I will keep moving forward, getting better and better, every da

A favorite quote of mine:“Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success.”It's what we do here. My thanks to all of you!

Yes, starting overI have totally discovered that I haven't absorbed the training as well as I thought. As a result of that, my posts and pages lacked substance. Everything I've done so far can be fixed, it simply takes time, study, effort and adhering to goals. Through the course of my life, I have mastered some things. Trades I worked in and some hobbies. Now I find that I need to take that same approach to WA. I need to take more time and put in more effort. I'll knuckle down and go through
