Slow Progress

Yes, Progress is Slow!

Recently I refocussed on my goals and thought to try 2 posts per week. So far this week, I have one post. If I count posts here at WA, then i have two.

A daily plan is hard for me. I live in a remote area and a simple outing for groceries takes 90 minutes. My wife and I share a single vehicle, and scheduling is difficult.

I'm Not Complaining

I'm slowly adapting to a floating schedule. Thanks goodness that WA allows for floating schedules. I'm here at different times, doing what I can do. I need to change my schedule in one way. Instead of checking email first, I'll work on posting first even if the posts are short.

I'll save email interactions until I complete that post. I love reading all the wonderful comments and posts of others, but the longer I am here, the list of emails grows every day. This morning there were 56 emails and I feel as I should respond to all of them.

My New Plan

Blog first, training, second, and email later. I'm certain that will help.

Dave

Just keep going. You can get used to the scheme of things. Life will be better if we take action today.

Try to get to 1 post a day David. Every post you create = content created that will eventually rank. The more you do today (plant seeds), the more it'll pay tomorrow.

One post a day is more than I can envision right now. I'm slow, and I wil get there once I reach a tipping point - that point where the training comes together with the doing.

That's ok, experience will help you produce it faster. Focus on one a week, then 2-3 a week, then daily.

Good plan. I know I wil get better.

100% David, this is how it's done, little by little!

Sounds like a great plan! I need one badly and I am trying to see what works best for me too...

Good plan.

Thanks!

That's a brilliant plan. Having a plan does help to keep you focused on your goals and priorities.
Go for it.

Thanks!

Terrific decision Dave. Good name, floating schedule. Yup, know the feeling. Go with the flow and grab pockets of time to post, read emails and blog.

You can do this.

Great decision Dave. Do what works for you, not everyone else.

Thanks!

Thatā€™s a plan, Dave. Way to go! We all have to make adjustments.

Thanks!
