Motivation in the Morning

My thanks go to a friend who introduced me to a wonderful process to stay motivated and on-track with my goals. The process is outlined in the book titled "The Miracle Morning" by Hal Elrod. The key to the process is to start every day with six simple steps. They are Silence, Affirmations, Visualization, Exercise, Reading, and Scribing. (SAVERS). The author survived a near-fatal car accident and later on, survived cancer.

I adapted the SAVERS method to my mornings, getting up early every day and going through the steps. For me, this will be the key to motivation through the time it takes to learn, build, and sustain my Wealth Affiliate business.

I think a morning routine is much needed. At least for me it is.

Hi DMahen 1 inspirational post, but as some-one else said you need to work out your own methods, not all methods suit everyone. Veronica.

Veronica, I totally agree.

You need to go with whatever works for you.

Hi David
Thank you for sharing the SAVERS - I agree that having a morning "ritual" is the best way to start the day.
One of the many things I do to generate an income is house and pet sitting and unfortunately, there are some houses and pets that throw me out of my routine completely - I have decided to work hard at getting back into the SAVERS habits and will also be looking out for the book you have mentioned here.

Thanks, Louise!

Hey David
As I was dozing off last night I was trying to remember what SAVERS stood for - do you think I could remember the first S - so frustrating! Haha!
Thank you again for this.
Blessings

THanks for your comment.
Whatever process you use every day will work, consistency is the key. for the S Silence, I meditate with an Om recording.

WOW! Very impressive! This is similar to what I do also! My day starts with exercise at the gym riding an upright bike for 6 miles or a half-hour then weights and the mat! The meditation and affirmations are accomplished with the bike ride!
Keep up the good work!

Good, that you do that. My exercise is at home, slowly building after a lifetime of no exercise. Well. not my entire lifetime. When I was n my 30's I ran, abut 2 miles a day every other day. That stopped after an accident that wiped out my knees. Back to exercise now.
