I've Got Mail
Lots of Mail
This morning I opened my email to see about 76 new Wealthy Affiliate emails. Wow.
It looks to me like a fair amount of time to go through them all and I have a throttled down internet. It may take several hours. I will work on training and post updates first. I wonder if the number of emails will exceed 100 by then.
What to do...What to do? More followers = more emails. It all seems highly time-consuming.
I'm looking for comments from the pros to gain insights into how they deal with the volumes of email. There's no help for my internet, in my very rural area, ther's no cable, only a slow speed satellite.

Click on your profile picture then "account settings". Go to email notifications, then edit. Some are just redundant, so you can edit them as needed.

I tend to read a few during intervals, for example, some after breakfast, lunch and dinner, or even while in the train when I have nothing to do!
I am just selective and read those that look like they can help me or are interesting, the rest get discarded, otherwise I would never get anything written.
It is a by product of having many people in your follow network.
I try to get through as many as I can but have to limit the time I spent on reading blog post and training posts.
Unfortunately the more people you follow the more emails you will get.
But don't let it side track you from the main objective which is to build your business.
Best wishes

When do emails start coming in? I don’t think I even know how to check them can someone help me to know how to check mails from my website?
Did you purchase a domain name already? (I just saw you did) and is your domain on WA? If so, did you create a “new email address” on https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/email ? Setting Up A Domain Specific Email Account Did you put your email address on your contact page or somewhere else on your site?
Are you promoting WA or other affiliate products, so you can expect emails from your audience?
Tom
I am promoting WA and I don’t think I connect my email to my website but will check tomorrow morning to see where I am behind Thanks a lot for your help
Priorities David. I scan my emails, delete if it's only a "following you" or a "like" email as I can't do anything about them.
I check the "comments" and either reply or like them. To answer 100 emails drains your time.
That's how I do it. Just see what works for you.

He David. It seems to be a problem if I get lost in reading every new blog, every email. What I am trying recently is setting a timer @25 minutes, reading and answering emails when I can and when the timer goes off I stop, take a break, and then move to work on whatever project on my website or watching a training video.
Throughout the day I will go back to emails.
Balance seems to be a key, and honestly, I struggle to find the right balance. Just thinking.

I think we all struggle with this one, as we want to support those following us. I set aside an hour in the morning and an hour in the evening to read emails. If it doesn't get done then, otherwise I would never get posts and blogs written.
Remember we understand. We're all in the same boat paddling forward.
Have a lovely day.
Lily 😊
