After I publish a new post, I always share it to my social media accounts. Last week, I went to share a post by using the social share plugin on my site and it glitched.
I share my posts generally within each social media to have full control. The social sharing plugins on my sites are there purely for my visitors to share the content.
That said, of course it is key to test if the plugins actually work. You will have to do the elimination test to figure out whether a plugin is bugging it out.
Otherwise it could also be a browser plugin that is preventing you from seeing the plugin popup on your display.

I've always used social pug and never had any issues. Free version works great, and what I like about it you have the ability to add the share buttons at the beginning of the post, at the end of the post, or both. Sorry to hear it isn't working for you. I wonder if it's a conflict with another plugin causing that.
I used addtoany, which was quite decent. It allowed you to place your buttons in widgets or posts. :)
Any recommendations on a social share plugin?

Hey everyone, I need some help because I'm stuck! I wrote an eBook and converted it to a PDF file.
My question is, how can I incorporate my eBook to my Webber email lis
I think it's like Nathaniell said, you have to create a page on your blog that link to your Aweber account where they can download your PDF. Your PDF is inside your media file in your blog and the link on that download page you just create.
As Elijah1916 said above, add the PDF to your blog, but make the post private or locked with a password. (same area as draft/publish in WordPress). Within Aweber, place the link to that page, so when people click the link they are taken to the download area on your blog.
You can't "upload" your book to aweber so you have to upload the book to your site, then link to your site in your aweber email.
Hope this helps!
There are two parts training on this that you can access thus: How To Add A PDF Download Link To Your WordPress Blog - Part 2

Last week I received a comment notification for one of my websites for a trackback. Last night I received another one.
The problem is, I have no idea what a trackback is
These are called pingbacks/trackbacks and it happens when another site links to yours. Often times this is a form of backlink spamming as these people are hoping that you will publish their comment and get a backlink themselves.
I personally don't allow pingback messages to even show up within my comment area. They are useless and a nuisance. You can delete them within your Settings => Discussion under the top Default Article Settings.
Uncheck the "Allow link notifications from other blogs (pingbacks and trackbacks)" checkbox and this will no longer happen. (see attached image for reference as well)
Thanks Kyle. This truly helped. I'm gonna have to put this to an end. If it's not adding value to my site, I don't want it.
Thanks, Kyle. I was able to use this from a previous similar reply.
Stops them in their tracks. lol.
Good Day, Diana.

Stops them in their tracks. Pun intended.
I've not heard of this. Awaiting an answer along with you. Thank you for asking the question.
It's basically a way to show off who's linking to you. If you got a link from Wikipedia, that would be awesome, and show your visitors that you are an authority page.
But in practice, it's mostly spam websites that link to you. I just turn off notifications: Customize Your Blog's Comment Moderation People can link to me if they want, but I don't need to share that with my visitors.

With Get Response virtually everything ends up in spam. There is a very good reason why top marketers use aweber
That's not necessarily true, I'm actually starting to have some success with Get Response and I know others who are doing well with it too. It took some time for me to get it going, but it has finally started to take shape and I'm starting to get a decent open rate.
Aweber is very good too and you can't wrong with it at all, but there are others who doing fine with Get Response as well.
Go for the free 30 day trial. You'll then be able to compare both before making a decision.
Maybe I will just to see which one is best for me. Although that whole spam thing @mdhuamel just mentioned has me weary.
Thanks!
