When the Stars Align, Success is in Inevitable
Hey everyone!
Today I want to share with you a bit of my journey. I became interested in affiliate marketing in 2013, and it took me almost eight months later to find Wealthy Affiliate.
I realized right away that there was value here and that success was inevitable.
Now it's 2016 and I've created a little over a 100 blog posts among all my websites.
I've also come to the realization that all this feels like work until you find your perfect niche. My first niche was ladies golf gear, then fly fishing, then retro video games, then the make money online niche, and now... the food niche.
For those of you that don't know I'm a chef. I love cooking and creating different recipes. When I first became interested in affiliate marketing, I refused to create a niche site based on the culinary world because I was trying to create an income away from that.
But recently I've realized that my passion for food was never going to vanish and that I have a lot to offer in this niche from my very own personal experience.
So I created a brand new niche site based on my passion for food and now it's become way easier to create content for this site because it is truly something I love.
That's the lesson for today guys. Make sure that when you create your niche site, it's based on something you love and not something that converts like the health and fitness niche. If you like collecting Star Wars memorabilia, then create your business based on that.
The money will come as long as you're happy creating content for it.

Hi Diana,
Your post made me stop and think, I need to find a new niche!! The only problem is, I'm not really good at any one thing, enough to use for a niche. I'm passionate about a lot of things, so that wouldn't really work for me. I'm not giving up, I'll find my perfect niche!! Thanks for the insight. Have a good evening.

Your post really struck a chord with me as I had decided to go for a baking niche but altho I do really enjoy home baking my heart wasn't in it when it came to the thought of creating regular content. I now know that what I want to do is vocational/life path astrology so I am in the process of regrouping before moving forward. Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks for your post and all the very best. :-)

That's great Diana that you've gone back to your passion! That seemed obvious to me when I was reading your post but sometimes you want to get away from it, maybe a break, only to realize how things flow more easily when you focus on what you're passionate about. :) I feel so happy for you. :)
Yes I've changed my niches a few times.. but they are all topics I'm passionate about so it's hard to pick at times. :)

great advice - yes I went into multiple - kids toys, self development, anxiety, kids room decor, frugal living, make money online... lol. My main one at the moment is my make money online site because I love writing the articles more than any other thing I've done. I don't think that's my last niche however! :) I'm also a massive foodie, before WA I also started a couple of food blogs but then discovered I didn't enjoy writing about food half as much as cooking/eating etc! It's funny what you discover with affiliate marketing isn't it! :)
