Remember Why You Got in This Business. Freedom!
I think we're all guilty of obsessing over the success of our business. I know I am. The reason I joined WA and decided to start an Internet marketing business was because I was sick and tired of missing out on family outings and vacations because of work.
Unfortunately, it seems old habits are hard to break.
A few weeks ago I took my parents to Disney and sure enough I took my laptop with me. What did I end up doing most of the time? Responding to comments on my site and writing a blog post.
My mom had asked me to join everyone at the pool but I was so wrapped up in getting something done, that by the time I looked up from my laptop screen, the sun had set!!
So my advice for today is this... It's okay to obsess over the success of your business. But remember that the reason you started it was so you wouldn't miss out on special moments that you used to when you were tied down to a full time job.
It's okay to enjoy yourself and reward yourself from time to time.

This is some excellent advice. I made that mistake too at times when I went on vacation with my mom last year. We went to the beach and I spent too much time on the laptop and not enough time enjoying life. We still did lots of fun stuff, like kayaking, going to watch the sunrise at the beach and going for 2 hour long beach walks, and swimming in the pool and going to Happy Hours. But at the end of the day, I would stay up late working on my sites and stuff and I should have just realized - No! Put the laptop away until you get home. :)

Exactly! Just because we have the freedom to work from anywhere in the world doesn't mean we should all the time. Lol
I totally agree that its easy to lose sight of why we joined WA. I'm going on a family vacation in a couple of weeks and I'll think of this if I find myself missing out on special moments being too busy here!
Definitely keep that in mind. It's very easy to get sidetracked from just one notification or email.
