I need to know whether I can continue to use the WA comment
platform while using the wpDiscuz comment plugin. Any help is much appreciated!
You can use the give and take thread, that's also the thread you have to use when you do not host here, in both cases the comment thread is not working Need website comments? the give and take comment thread
Yes, when you are not hosting your website here, but on another platform, you can not use the comment thread with the credits. And I do believe @Rich is right, that Discus is not compatible with the comment thread either.
Thanks for your reply! Not sure which plugin you're referring to when you say Discus. There are two plugins called Disqus & wpDiscuz. I am referring to wpDiscuz. In either case, both should work on comment thread because just a matter of clicking the link and submitting your comment at the frontend. Both may not work on comment platform though. Anyway, I am going to try and see for my self. Thanks!
Hey Dishan,
If no WA member can help you answer this question, you might want to ask SiteSupport to see if they know for certain.
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/support
Personally, if I find a post that I want to comment on (not necessarily here on WA) and I'm forced to create yet another account and sign in before making a comment, I will simply leave without commenting. However ... this is my personal opinion on this issue.

Can I use wa comment platform while using wpdiscuz?

I have over 5000 comments on my site from the WA comment platform which I like because you are guaranteed to get comments. I have no experience with wpdiscuz so I can't comment on that plugin.

To get a small theme modification done (PHP coding) on my site, I will have to give admin access to an external freelancer.
My question is, what sort of precautions I s
You could do that if you trust them and then perhaps change the password afterward or ask WA support here if they can help you.
I had the same issue recently, this was not a freelancer but a guy I met in FB, I was so desperate I was ready to give him access but then in the last minute,I changed my mind.
But I think you can create him a temporary access but do back up your site first so if things go wrong, you will not lose your site.
use something like LastPass to share logins.
Capability Manager Enhanced plugin is also a great thing to use to create a user for freelancers to login through and limit their access

I need to have the option of adding multiple authors to my posts. Hence I added the plugin :Co-Authors Plus. But it needs a small PHP work to show authors at the frontend which
You can go to Site Management and look at 'Admin' and you can add different authors access to your site (they will have their own access login) that you can remove later when you wish. This may be the saftest way to give someone access to your site rather than givingthem your Admin access password.
yes you need a option regarding adding multiple autors to post external freelancers and ask the decision of the community weather they are agree or not have a nice day
Backup your site the right way

Thanks Loes for your thoughts! But there is automatic backup on a daily basis with siterubix platform right?
Yes, there are WA backups, but when something goes wrong, and for some technical reason your website isn't backed up the way it supposes to be, you are the one who suffers. So, when you are going into this adventure, you should also take your own full responsibility to protect your asset.
That how I think about this.
Isn't there a way in the Users section of Wordpress that you can make a user account for them with only author privileges? And then you can change the password afterward? I'm not sure if that's how its done but that's how I always assumed it was done.
Depends on the Freelancer. I do it but as soon as they are through I change the password. I also make a backup of my site before I give them access. But I backup on a regular basis anyway so that is pretty easy to do.
So know (more or less) who you are dealing with, backup your site first, then change the password as soon as they are done.

Every time I add a post with a link I don't get a preview image though all the links have featured images. Anyone knows what I can do to solve this?
Hi, Dishan Hope you found the answer to your question. Unfortunately, I don't have an answer for you. I did, however, go to your site https://freevegetarians.com/vegan-and-vegetarian-benefits-disadvantages and I got an UNSECURE site message. Just wondering if you are aware of that. I visited it using firefox. I switched to safari (Mac) dropped the 's' in the https and got through. I left a comment also. Cheers Peter
Thanks Peter for your reply. Ya I noticed that but even after solving the SSL the preview problem was there, but thanks to this link Facebook Sharing - No Image Displayed given by John I was able to solve it. Also thanks for leaving a comment and glad I was able to show how vegan cuisine can be exciting. Let me know how I can return a favor.
You are welcome, Pleased John was able to give you a solution. Best Luck and success going forward
I do not use any social sites, so I do not have a response, but I wish you success in fixing this issue.

This training is for Facebook, but It does the same thing with Google Plus: Facebook Sharing - No Image Displayed
