Yep, that's where I found a template with the privacy policy.

Yes, as Shantaya says, there is a draft Template in SiteContent.

There is also the option to use the one that WordPress has provided in the recent WP update. You will find it in Settings > Privacy.

Social Engagement & Marketing
Updated

Hi all,

I have been using the Ultimate Social Media Plus plug in for a while now. The social media buttons look great and you can even adjust their sizes. While it looks

I don't know...

Hi, I'm also using the Ultimate Social Media. If you look on line 8 you will see "To get access to the emails who subscribe, please click here" You can go in and set it up the way you want it. Click on My Offered Feeds to see all the stats. Not sure if this is what you are referring to but hope it helps.

Hi,
Yes, I did that step, it took me to the site of specific feeds to open an account in order to get the stats. Which was not an easy process. I'm still hoping there is a better alternative to manage everything (not only the subscription part)

I am using the Social media PLUS plug in and at question 8 you have to subscribe to specificfeeds.com to get access to the emails of the subscribers of your website.

Aft

Hi Dira, I've never used specific feeds. Well let me take that back, I tried to use it once. It really doesn't know what it wants to be, a feed host/analytics service, or an RsS reader. Personally, I wouldn't use an RSS delivery service for your mailing list. I'd use something like Aweber, MailChip, or MadMimi, you can even use TinyLetter it's free for the first 5000 subscribers.

Thank you so much Noelle! I thought it was just me that have issues with it.

Lol nope you aren't the only one. I use feed.press for my feed hosting and analytics. I really do like it and it works well, however, it's $70 per year.

Authoring & Writing Content

By writing good web content you will receive more visits to your post which increase the traffic to your website. But what do you need to consider first?

Understanding who your target audience is. Have an idea who the typical person is and what problems or interests they have.

Then write your content as if talking to that person.

Your call to action to your target audience and the content to get you there!

Here is what I Think:
Always start with keyword research for SEO
Too much Keywords is never okay
Always hyperlink to your sources

I have been researching on the platform and there is a lot of materials on how to provide site feedback and site comments (where to go, what you should do, etc). But I couldn't

Dissect the blog or site then look for issues, problems or successes and expand on them to be meaningful!

I've had some trouble with leaving long comments as well. It sort of depends on the post on the page. The longer and more detailed the content the easier it is to leave a long comment.

One of the things that helped me was trying to find a question to ask about the content. Try to pick out something you want to know more about or that you want an alternate take on.

With that question in mind you can put together a format like this:

Your thoughts on the post
Ask your question
Elaborate on your question
Restate your question
Restate your thoughts

As an example:

Wow that's an excellent question. It' probably one that a lot of people wonder about, but haven't bothered to ask. I'm curious what do you usually put in your four sentences? You mentioned that's about what you normally come up with. Depending on what you normally answer with maybe there is something in there we can elaborate on. So I was just wondering what you normally say and if we could use that as a starting point? Again great question, and I'm sure it will really help out the community.

Thank you so much for the feedback it helps a lot.

I usually comment like this.
1. I write what I think the post was like Very good post, very informative post, Good read.
2. I say something about one thing that caught my attention in the post
3. I give my view on that.
4. I thank the writer for the post (I don't always do it;it depends if I benefit from the post or not)

OK so using that format, you can tack on expanding language. For example you say:
This is a very good question
Then tack on
because it asks a question that I think a lot of people might think about without asking.
Then:
The thing that really stood out to me about this question was when you pointed out the lack of training on this topic
And tack on:
and to me that's definitely something we could work on here.

That doesn't get you to more sentences unless you break them up, but it does make them longer and fills it out comment.

When I add comments, I like to think that I am stating my opinion about the content or even a particular point the writer is making. I may agree or disagree and then state my reason. Better yet, I will add information about why I agree or disagree such as prior experience. If the writer misses something, that gives me the chance to add to the content. For example, if the writer lists product benefits and I know of one not listed, I will add that in my comment with a reason why it is a benefit. You can write a few sentences and, if you do not quite understand what the writer is saying, you can ask a question or two.

Hope this helps.

Thanks! Yes this helps.
