The Market Doesn't Care About Your Problems

Introduction

Let me say something that may sound very harsh.

The market doesn't care about your problems.

This might seem depressing to you or you might think it's rather liberating, but here's what I mean.

No matter your lack of education, low economic status, past sins, abusive experiences, difficult upbringing, daddy issues, or whatever you think might be holding you back, none of that matters to your audience.

And while we're on the subject, your audience doesn't much care about a protected status either, if you believe these things are holding you back as well.

The markets that you serve on the Internet are primarily interested in one thing: THEIR PROBLEMS.

Yes, I know some people choose their vendors / products based on some category they like or dislike about you and that's unfortunate. That's human nature. But on the whole, no one plum cares about those things if you they know you have the best solution to a vexing problem.

This is Wonderful News

This should be wonderfully liberating for you. How so? Well I can think of at least two ways:

#1 - You get to start with a clean slate

As an online entrpreneur, whatever "handicaps" you have or difficulties you have faced, these no longer need to define you. There are literally no barriers to your success.

You have as much of an opportunity as the next entrepreneur.

#2 - Your success primarliy depends on the problems you solve for people

Because your audiences are mainly interested in what's in it for them, your one overriding focus for your business should be: How can I become the biggest problem solver for my niche?

That's the game.

The more difficult and complex problems you can solve, the higher your income. But even if you are only solving small problems, you can make up for it in volume.

So don't let anything (real or perceived) hold you back from acheiving your online dreams.

Good point and true to the bone. As a sales manager at my corporate job, I'm always reinforcing that to my team. Especially new people. Lot of people come from the perspective of looking at their own situation and how they are feeling. Not in the realm of how can I help others with their problems.
