When i check out my website on google my title and description is not what i typed into my all in on
What have I done wrong along the way??
Yeah, did you add the description after the page was indexed? It takes google a while to do anything, it took them 2 weeks to change my description, but they eventually got around to it.
Thanks so much for replying to my question. I was told when I joined WA that no question is too dumb or stupid so I hesitated as to what you all would think. Anyway, yes, I did add my description after my page was indexed. So, after reading your reply, I'm going to let things be for a while and wait for Google to catch up. If you don't mind, I have another question. I no longer have the edit button next to my permalink. I need to add my title here. Can u help with this please? Thanks in advance. Di
Sure, try going into settings under permalinks, and see if you can pick up the edit there. I don't use permalinks, have you heard of the pretty links plugin? It does basically the same thing, it makes your link look attractive, and you can set it up to be anything you wish, and you can categorize them nicely.
Kyle has a great class on it, you can find it in classrooms, just start typing in pretty links, and the class will pop up in the classrooms listed. I sincerely hope you solve your problem, please do let me know how it goes, and do not hesitate to ask any question....the only dumb question is the one not asked!!..... Best Wishes!!..... Gary

I know this probably didn't happen, but it's happened to me along the journey. Did you press "save"?
Thank you for replying. I appreciate it. Yes, I did press save. I did everything by the book exactly. I am just going to leave it be for a day and see if time will help. If not, I'll be back here for more help. Cheers, Di
Yes, I sometimes have to leave......like today. 9 hours with very little accomplished. Bet you'll open it up and see right away what it was. Good luck.

Hi there Di, Simon here also from Oz . As is Chris below in which he said it would be advisable to get yourself an ABN. True!
However my advice for what it is worth is to save yourself some money seeing an accountant until you are actually earning some money. You have no idea when that will be. I have been with WA now over 4 months and haven't yet received any $s. There are quite a few who take less time to get the income rolling in and many who take longer than me.
Slowly, Slowly Catchee Monkey as they say. You will have enough to do without having to chase off after your accountant with nothing to show. Build your business first.

Technically >> I would if I were you >> i.e. you would need to apply for an ABN or BN to operate as a sole trader as the tax rules in Australia state you should be declaring ALL income sources whether it be domestic or international.
Mind you knowing nothing about your circumstances >> my advice go see an accountant first before you do.
