Using Pinterest Trends

So, for those of you who use Pinterest, did you know that there is a Pinterest Trends tool?

This can be useful in showing what people are particularly searching for right now.

If you have a relevant post, then you can create a Pin for it, and it might grab some interest.

https://trends.pinterest.com/

As you first enter, you can see that you can select your country of interest.

I am using the UK setting.

Next, we have what Pinterest considers a hot topic, and in this case, it is sunglasses.

So, if you have a fashion site, and have a post on sunglasses you can create a Pin.

Or maybe even write a new post on the subject.

As you scroll down, you can see this week's surging trends.

Tricep tattoos?

Oh yes, I will definitely be exploring that, even though I don't have a website in that niche lol.

And finally, you will see lots of different categories such as Fashion, Beauty, Travel, etc.

If you click on something of interest, you can then see a graph with more suggestions, so you can target a narrower search.

So, if we look at Prom Hairstyles, other suggestions include prom hairstyles for long hair and formal hair ideas.

There you are, another method of potentially attracting traffic by tapping into Pinterest trends!

Great! Last month, I added a document map where I take important articles from WA members. In it are some maps which the names are, from you, I am taken it.
Your name is in, one of the first!

I did it because there are some really good, more good, and then some not as good.
But at least I forgot the names or where I saw interesting things. So this has helped me a lot!

Great info, Diane! Very useful, especially for "evergreen" pins!

I would expect that prom hairstyles is a seasonal pin, Mid May in the USA, if memory serves correctly. So, it's probably getting ready to peak, as shown on the proximal part of the X axis.

Pinterest doesn't show a full year on your graph example. I wonder if it can be zoomed out to see more data.

I'll definitely be checking out their trends tool.

Triceps tattoos? I thought your photo was a tattoo of Kiss. When I looked closer I saw it is the "three monkeys." It's amazing how much one of them looks like Gene Simmons! 😊

Pinterest is a treasure trove of useful information. It's great for bloggers to find new and interesting ideas. Plus, it offers multiple opportunities to get traffic.

I am a regular visitor of your blog and I always look forward to reading your post. You always come up with very interesting ideas that are really helpful for me.

Thank you for this great update post which allows me to know about the latest and amazing things in the world of blogging.

How do you link a particular interest into your website from Pinterest?

Hi - have you actually got a Pinterest account and know how to use it? If not, then take a look at this training, it takes you through the whole process.

I do have an account although I don't use it much so I probably need to check out the training.
Thank you

Thank you for pointing this out but I haven't really gotten into Pinterest in a big way as of yet.

Tried in the past but if you aren't posting at least 10 pins a day then I don't think people are going to see the benefits.

That's why people need to be using something like Tailwind.

Cheers
Mick
