Top 10 Questions People Ask Google

As we are three quarters of the way through the year, this is the list of the top 10 questions asked in Google so far in 2020. It may not help us with our keyword research but it is both interesting and baffling at the same time! Some of them particularly stand out, such as numbers 8 and 9. How come nearly 1 million people don't know how many weeks are in a year?

Now, if you were to guess what was likely to be in the top 10, but is clearly missing, what would you say? Yes - corona virus! Surprisingly it doesn't appear until number 63, with the question "what is coronavirus" with a search volume of 315k. Easily beaten by much more important questions such as "where is my train" at number 14 and "how to make French toast" at number 47!

Maybe the what time is it question I ask with myself most of the time as no one with me at home and also if what is the day today that two questions I most of the time asking myself as I'm forgetting the day and the date most of the time. Luckily I have my phone who can tell me exactly the answer of my question, because sometimes even the calendar is just right in front of me, it can not help me exactly specially if I don't remember the day and the date.

I want to say that I know who asked the number 8 question, but that would be betraying a friend. LoL. Where Am I is a question a lot of us ask ourselves, silently or sometimes out loud when no ones around and it's safe to talk to ourselves.
Some of these questions might make good blogs for some.
Some might give reflections on how to build a new blog.
Great information, Diane.

Love it.!
Especially the quesiton - what time is it? Reminds me of an old UK radio comedy show - the Goon Show. A discussion between two characters about what time it was. One of the characters knew the time because he had it written down on a piece of paper. Fortunately, I have reasonable idea where I am, I know the time and I make a pretty mean French toast!
Thanks Diane

Do we get to try your French toast? ;-)

I could always send a piece through USPS - might you with election coming that wouldn't be a good idea.

Are you also in the UK or just listen to UK Radio Stations? ;-)

I grew up in the UK. Moved to mainland Europe in 1980 and in 1999 to the US where I still live. Goon show comedy is definitely something I consider formative. I know I could listen to more of it if I tried. After all many of those radio show greats are only a few clicks away on YT.

Ahh ok and very true :-) For some reason I thought you were in your twenties, I was born in 1985, making me 35, so you left the UK 5 years before I was born :-)

My profile photo is from a long long time ago. But I am still the same guy inside :-) the knees are a bit creaky though.

Very interesting reading, thanks, Diane!

Must be a lot of people wanting to delete their Instagram account.

I always know where I am... thank God!!

Monica
