So, following on from yesterday, here is a further niche idea suggested by the Ahrefs blog.

Right, let's talk about hotels with jacuzzis!

There are currently over 41,000 searches per month in the US alone for “hotels with jacuzzi in room” so it's obviously very popular.

You might think you would be up against the big players in the travel industry, but lower authority sites are definitely seeing some success with this, such as https://roomtubs.com/

However, you will need to come up with a unique low competition niche, that not only can you write lots of informational content about, but also have the opportunity to promote hotels with jacuzzis.

For example, your niche could be creating a spa in your own home, and you could write about aromatherapy, making your own face masks, mindfulness, self-care, massage etc.

And then, suggest hotels with jacuzzis that they could visit for inspiration!

I hope this has given you some ideas.

And if you are already in the travel niche, you are well placed to consider writing some content to capture this audience.

I thought I would end this post with a little insight into the travel industry.

For those of you who book your vacations online, some of the big travel companies obviously have hundreds of different countries listed, then narrowed down to hundreds of resorts within each country, and then the actual accommodation.

Obviously, you will see that every destination and every hotel has a review to offer detailed information and persuade you to book.

How do they do this, how can they cover hundreds of thousands of resorts and hotels and know everything about them?

Who are these lucky people who get to visit them and write reviews?

You may be surprised to know, that the big holiday companies do not ask people to visit all their resorts.

Instead, they employ writers like myself to write their reviews.

I have written for many UK holiday companies over the years, and have never yet been paid to visit any of their destinations, it's entirely down to research!

So, it just goes to show that you don't need first-hand knowledge of a vacation hotel or destination to be able to write a compelling review about it.
