More Confusion Over Indexing!
So, after my previous post about Google adding a new feature to Search Console, we now have more news!
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/dianescorpio/blog/new-indexi...
And it's not good, I'm sorry to say!
Apparently, there has been a bug in the Search Console reports, and posts over the last couple of days were shown as being indexed when they were not.
This has now been fixed, which means that your reports may now be showing fewer posts indexed than you thought!
I am not sure if that means that those of you who use Site Content have received emails stating posts have been indexed when actually they haven't.
So sorry, I can't help you any further.
I just thought that you should know, in case you noticed and wrongly assumed that your posts had been de-indexed and were wondering what you might have done wrong.
Thanks for reading, I will try and come up with better news for my next post!

Thanks for the update, Diane. I noticed the numbers had changed in the reports of some of the categories.
Guess I'll continue to work on fixing errors.
Surely they will soon tire of changes.
Thanks for weeding through the information for us.

The indexing report is reasonable to me. I have 1100 errors, mostly is the mistakes I made in the past.
- Crawl clean, I delete some of the RSS file.
- Out from AMP but Google still keeps the old posts.
- Simply change the post title, get a lot of redirect.
- Page set no index.
- Simply change the permalink format with the year and month, then back to sample post.
- Stop new post comment after 15 days published.
Clear all in 2 days. Thank you.
