Is Your Website Hosted at SiteGround?

Last Update: November 13, 2021

So, it has recently been confirmed that the two million domains hosted at SiteGround were blocking Google from indexing their content.

The company announced that there was a “network issue between AWS Global Accelerator service and Google,” and this was fixed on November 12.

The problem began on November 8, so there were four days when indexing was not happening.

This means that any new content that was posted or old content that was updated was not visible to Google and could not be indexed.

Thankfully, Google has confirmed that there should be no long-lasting effects, but it may take a while to catch up.

I know what you are going to say!

You are not with SiteGround but your content does not appear to be currently being indexed.

Stay tuned, my next blog post will offer some insight into this.

Thank you for your information, Diane, it's appreciated.

From what I understand, servers are being attacked a lot more than we are actually told. My information comes from my Webmaster in the states, apparently, it's a new type of warfare! But it's obviously not being reported on mainstream media!

Have a great day,

Roy
