Grammarly and Site Content

So, just a very short post. For those of you who use Grammarly, one of the complaints here is that it doesn't work in Site Content. Well, now it does! And also, it works as you are writing your WA blog post. I haven't seen it announced anywhere, but its a step in the right direction as far as I am concerned. All we need now is for the duplicate content checker to work properly!

Hi Diane
That must be hot off the press. I published a new post yesterday evening (ie. Wednesday 9 December, about 18 hours ago now) which I drafted in Site Content. I ran through the Site Content spellchecker. But then after publishing, Grammarly came up and proposed many further edits - most of which I accepted. Are you sure this isn't a Premium Plus only feature. (I am still humble Premium only :-) )
Thanks
Andy

I only noticed it a couple of hours ago, and I'm not Premium Plus either.

Or do you mean Grammarly premium? If so, then yes, I do have that.

Hi Diane, I use Grammerly the free version. So it comes up in Wordpress for me. Actually, I think it is fine going through an article at least twice checking spelling and grammar. So I am happy with the set up I have. Works for me.
Thanks and best
Andy

Hey Diane
I just started working on a new post in WA Site Content and hey presto - Grammarly is now working inside Site Content. So mystery solved. It must have been as you say a very recent change.
Best
Andy

Hi Diane, I don't use this 'grammarly', only the grammar and spell checker contained within site content.

Is there a big difference between the two?

And if 'grammarly' is substantially better, how would I go about getting it to use?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi - Grammarly is a tool that you download to your device and it checks your spelling and grammar as you are actually writing. I use the premium version, but the free one is very good. Check it out here.

Thanks a lot Diane, I will definitely check it out.

So, would you not recommend using the spelling/grammar checker already provided on site content?

Hi - the checker in Site Content is fine if you prefer to stick with that.

Hi again!

I find that I disagree with some of the corrections that are offered in Site Content.

So I will certainly give Grammarly a try to see if it works better for me or not.

Thanks again for your help and advice Diane. 🙂🙂

I too can vouch that this is a good thing for us Bloggers!! 🤘

I can vouch for this. It does work I am happy. I just realized this couple weeks ago.

So that is great. I have to see if I can grammarly on my iPhone. Do you know Diane?

Thank you Diane for this good news. Alicia

Hi - I don't have an iPhone, but it looks as though there is an app available.

Okay thank you. Alicia

What amazing news! Grammarly rocks again!
