The first few days can be overwhelming for newbies, and we are all guilty of throwing around various affiliate marketing and website terms that can confuse them further.

Here is a quick glossary of some common words and phrases. If you have any further suggestions or corrections, I will be happy to add them. I have also included some links to WA content which should help explain some of these concepts further. These may not be up to date, so do let me know if you find a better class/tutorial/post, etc.

DianeScorpio: I asked a question, "Is their a dictionary of online marketing terms available??
One of our newer WA members was asking about a term I had never even heard, listed somewhere in a reply message someone had sent him.

I do not remember the context, but the term was TDL .

As I have felt the need for an available dictionary (maybe on the TOP Navigation BAR of every WA Member) and I could not answer his question, I put the Dictionary question out.
Diane, I appreciate your prompt response.

I would appreciate the same consideration of my suggestion that a dictionary of terms in online marketingf AND Website building might be made available on the TOP Navi Bar, which may help alleviate some of the newbie initial confusion as they are processing the unfamiliar training. Or perhaps there is a good reason for not making such available, up to now.

Thank you to ALL who have responded in helpfulness.

Shirley
