Check Your Rank Up to Position 100
So, just a quick post today to introduce you to a new tool. You may have been using Jaaxy to search the ranking position of your posts. However, as you are aware, it only shows a result if you are on the 1st page of Google. In other words, the top 10. While that may be our ultimate goal, it's nice to have a bit of encouragement by perhaps finding out if we are even in the top 100, the first 10 pages. Like a fairy Godmother, I am here to your rescue!

The basic plan is completely free. You get unlimited searches for any of your keywords. It's just the same as Jaaxy - input your domain and then the keyword. The difference is, you will see if you are in the top 100, not just the top 10.
If you want automatic daily tracking, you can select 10 keywords on the free plan.
Just a word of caution. Many times I have seen members here using Jaaxy incorrectly, and getting excited, thinking they are on page 1 when they are not.
You don't input the entire title of your post (unless of course it is just comprised of your keyword alone). Just input the actual keyword itself.
Here's an example. Let's say your keyword is "fashion blog content ideas" and you have titled your post "25 fashion blog content ideas".
In that case, when checking in Jaaxy or this free tool, you just put in the keyword "fashion blog content ideas". Don't add the number 25 to it. That will give a false result.

Yes, I have used that and other free SERP searches. I would search both ways, with and without the 25. Why do you say it would give a false result with the 25? I have found my posts ranked all different ways with different combinations of words. The search engines are smart enough to understand what we mean and show results for similar but not exact keywords now. So you can have high ranking keywords phrases of many different combinations now all pulling from the same post. Of course people have to understand if they use the 25 in their search it is only reflective of results from that exact search term including “25”. But you could rank for both terms.
Hi - yes, you are correct. I was just trying to give an easy to understand example. I have seen members here showing their Jaaxy results, and they have used their entire post title, of maybe 10 words or more, and then claimed they were number 1. Not realising that a visitor would need to do an exact search for that phrase, which would be unlikely.
Awesome! Thanks for sharing this! I hate that Jaaxy doesn't tell you where you're at, only if you're on the first page. For most of us that don't talk about health, wealth or something along those lines, it takes a lot of time to rank on the first page.

Thank you for your interesting and useful blog post.
I hear you regarding members getting excited about being on page 1 of Google, it's not quite as simple as that in most cases. I will often put the full title of a blog post into Google and then gradually take out words and find out where my position is. Often I will still be on page 1 of Google.
Incidentally, this is not something that I do often as I feel we are better off to spend time writing rather than keep looking at previous blog posts.
