So, if you are struggling to find a narrow niche, it really is only a question of taking 3 steps from your broad niche starting point.
Let's see some examples.
Broad Niche - Health and Fitness
Step 1 - narrow down to Fitness
Step 2 - narrow down to Pilates
Step 3 - find your audience - Pilates for Women Over 50
Broad Niche - Music
Step 1 - narrow down to Instruments
Step 2 - narrow down to Bass Guitar
Step 3 - find your audience - Bass Guitar for Beginners
Broad Niche - Photography and Video
Step 1 - narrow down to Video
Step 2 - narrow down to Video Editing
Step 3 - find your audience - Video Editing for Affiliate Marketers
This works for just about any subject.

So, you need to narrow down once more to what type of Affiliate Marketing.
And then finally, who is your target audience?
As an example, much of my "teachings" (some call them ramblings) are specifically aimed at:
Blogging & SEO for website owners who haven't quite found success yet!! (is that a niche? who knows).
But, for now, you just need to narrow down slightly more Alicia, and find the specific people you would like to target your website towards.

Hi Diane...that helps break down the niche specific aspect nicely. My only question is how does one find enough to continuously write about when a topic is so small. For example, pilates for women over 50...how does one keep finding content to write about that is unique. That's where my struggle is at the moment.

Hi - yes, a lot of research is required to continually come up with new topics. Obviously, you can look at your competitors' websites and see what they are writing about. I have also written some blog posts with ideas on where to find inspiration.
