Just a quick post to let you know that a new feature has been added to Google Search Console. You can now check if your site has appeared in a news search, as opposed to the previous options, which are web search, image search, and video search.

When in Search Console, click Performance on the left-hand side, and change the setting at the top of the screen from Web to News.
