Taking Time to Analyze and Ramp Up
I'm Still Here...but needed time
Yes, I'm still here. I haven't been as active on WA for the past few months (and thank you to all those who messaged to make sure I'm ok--I am)
I just felt like I needed a little time to analyze, assess, and then really ramp up. I do that every-so-often. It just feels needed. Not on any schedule, mind you. But just when the need arises.
And so that's what I've been doing. I even added some help.
Remember how I've said I really don't like social media?
And I still don't. Oh, I do peruse here and there. But spending time on the platforms on a regular basis just isn't me. I'd rather be writing, designing, or maybe off with my dogs for a bit.
So, I finally did what I had been thinking about. I hired help for those tasks that I'd rather not do. Social media is at the top of that list.
Sure, I know how to manage my social media. But I'd rather turn it over to someone who enjoys doing it.
Success!
With the regular attention it is now getting, my social media is really moving forward. And that, in turn, is helping my websites ramp up, too.
In fact, I think I might have waited longer than I should have. But better late than never. And I count my team help as a big success!
Fire Report
For those who remember my darling little sidekick (toy poodle) Fire, I am happy to report that she is still staying beside me as I work. The cancer treatments did not dissolve the tumor. They haven't even reduced it. But they have kept it from growing and impacting other areas. I'm still counting that as a success. She is almost 6 months into her treatments and still a very happy little girl.
And Black Friday Success, too
In addition to watching my own websites and their progress, I managed to snag some great Black Friday deals to help my endeavors even more.
And yes, I have another year of WA,
thanks to the great BF deal!
That was an easy decision. I was already annual from last year's BF sale. So when I renewed through the 2021 BF sale, I actually paid less than what was already a good deal! Success!
I'm a premium plus member. I have only one regret with the PP membership: I wish I had more hours in the day to follow all the training and videos available!
But I will get to them over time. I just need to soak up one area at a time.
Another year with all of you, my WA friends.
And another year of successes in the making!
I know that December will fly by quickly. It always does. And that's ok. I'm getting my website track shoes on. Virtual ones, of course. I might be more of a walker than a runner, but I am ready to win more successes!
Yes, I am ready to continue forward into 2022!

Thanks, Rudy! Yes, if you are able, try outsourcing the social media. I found a great source of help without over-spending. The results are amazing!

Sure, Rudy. I used a site where I could search for different types of talent. I've used other platforms for short-term help but this one let me find people to hire for the long-term and at very reasonable salaries.
I broke it down into steps. First, I listed out what help I needed. I made sure the description was very detailed.
Next, I made up a questionnaire (I used google docs to make it easy to share). When someone sounded possible from their initial response, I sent the questions for them to respond to. From there, I selected some to interview via FB chat (since most of my discussions will be over FB).
Honing it down like that helped me find those that I felt comfortable working with. I figured I could train them in some skills (though for social media did want them to have the basics) if I could work with them.
So far, so good. I hired the first two at the beginning of August and they are still with me. In fact, I've added others since, too. (I have several websites)

Great to have you back after that long lull! The first thing that came to my mind is your cat. I am glad to learn your furry friend is still by your side! Outsourcing things we find unpleasant in our business makes a lot of sense and allows us to grow our business by concentrating our efforts on the things we excel at.

I at first thought it was to do with Fire, but it pleases me greatly to hear that the youngster is still amongst us, you certainly have a fighter there, and although things haven't got better, I am so happy that they haven't got any worse for her.

That's a primary reason that I decided to nix Premium Plus this time around! A good deal, YES, but not if I don't have the time to look at everything in Premium, let alone Premium Plus, so I decided to postpone!
