I don't see where the font size or color can be change. I see that it can be bold or underlined. But I can't figure out how to change the color or size..Please help;). thanks

see MagicMargie has answered your question hope it all works out

there should be a bar with two rows of editing symbols to the right of the word paragraph, you should see an underlined A click the down arrow next to that and choose your color.
the arrow beside the "paragraph" will give you a choice of heading size. If you do not have the second row under the bold and underline row, click on the last square to the right of the bold symbol -it is a toggle square that will bring up the second row needed to edit words.

i use WP Edit Just search it in plug-ins

Excellent question

Hi you got it all below, what more can be said but enjoy the training here at WA!

thanks

I was going to say the same thing...looks like you have your answer. Cheers

On your edit page on the top where you see the bold and underline the box that reads paragraph has a drop down and you can change the size there. The little box that has an underlined A is where you can change the color of your text.

Found it..Thanks :)

The regular editor should be enough, find the dropdown menu called "kitchen sink". Some people like to install plugins for editing font size/color but most of the time that gets them in trouble by allowing them to create rainbow colored text across their blog lol.

Don't want rainbow colored text…lol. "kitchen sink" where's that?

Sorry, I guess they changed the name from Kitchen Sink to Toggle toolbar! http://take.ms/k9FGH

They may have changed the name to toggle toolbar but if you hover over the icon they still have kitchen sink there in the description

make sure you have the full toolbar toggled on. That will give you another row of options that should include what you are looking for.

There is also the plugin: Ultimate TinyMCE
That will give you even more options.

UTMCE is defunct now, but it's been replaced with WP Edit I think :)

Found the toolbar toggle, it was right there in from of my face..lol thanks Jaweda2k

WA Affiliate Program
Updated

I'm going through the program and I'm very anxious to finish. I know patience is a virtue, but I want to complete the thing already. How many levels are there to the program?

4 levels and ten lessons each on the starter program. Six levels as of right now in Bootcamp.

HI, you just have to check this out in the WA dashboard. Going through all the courses especially if you haven't done this before is the only way to learn. I understand your keen to move fast forward, but, as the saying goes 'haste makes waste'.

You are right, Jen090. It's more important to understand your lessons than to rush through them

4, but finishing will not give you anything special. Being "done" does not mean you'll make money. Making money with your website will mean you have to dig into what YOUR visitors are looking for, both in Google, and on your website.

You might finish Level 4 this month, but it could take another couple months to start making sales. It just depends on how much you continue to work on your site and tweak it to get more traffic and sales.

There are 4 certification courses each with 10 lessons. There is also affiliate bootcamp which I believe has 5 courses with 10 lessons each. In addition to that there is plenty of other training throughout WA.

I have to agree with everyone else, do not rush your way through and follow each lesson by lesson.
Rich

Take it one step at a time. Do the certification courses first. Then move onto the others. It can be overwhelming so take breaks.

In my opinion... moving 'slowly but surely' is better than rushing and then making mistakes 'cause you didn't GRASP well everything that needs to be properly understood. So if you are a fast GOOD learner and feel you can move forward fast as well, then go for it! And it's important that you ask questions if you have any doubts during the process. Just focus on doing a GREAT JOB and don't rush it up and make a mediocre thing! Trust your own feelings and be aware...
Wishing you the BEST!

It is important to go through and finish each lesson and the tasks at the is end before moving on to the next, there are four courses to do, and there is boot camp , there is also lots of other useful training which you can do later

How Important is it to have a video on your website? Are images enough to grab someone's attention? or is it the content that really matters?

Content matters for search engines (as well as visitors, but that almost goes unsaid). Having videos and images matter for visitors and can lead to a better experience, conversions, etc.

A lot probably depends on what you are promoting but I find that embedded YouTube videos are fantastic for quickly filling in a lot of space in the middle of a product review, and it literally takes seconds to add a suitable video that you have found into your post.

Even if people don't watch them they can just skip past them if they prefer, but they still help fill in the space and add visual appeal to the post. I also believe that if you add videos such as official manufacturers promo videos of their products it makes your site look more official and gives it more authority.

The thing I really like though is they can vastly improve your bounce rate which in turn should improve your rankings. A video on page could be the difference between people staying on the page for a few seconds or a few minutes.

It could also help to sell the product as people will get more value from a video demonstration of a product than they will from your review, no matter how good your review is. That's my view anyway.

thanks everyone

I am in the learning process, but everything I am learning from W/A, Word Press, Google Analytic and SEO, that keeping it simple and to the point is the best. Don't clutter it up as people won't stay and you want to get them to the action point which will generate a lead and hopefully a sale. Hope this helps? robert

Well, actually, yes and no, Robert.

While you most certainly want to keep your site clean, neat and professional so that readers have an enjoyable experience on your site, at the same time, you definitely want to add images and possibly videos to your articles or posts. This keeps readers interested.

Videos are good, but not everyone watches. If you have good content in there, a large portion of people will get bored and just not finish watching. Some people can't even watch videos, or won't because they need to conserve data on their phone.

Written content is your main weapon, but images and video are good to mix in there as well.

Hi, I agree with Katiemac, even though videos are the best for your conversions, it takes a good mix of great content, images and videos to get maximum rankings.
Rich

Video tops photos. Photos are quick to find if you do not have a video that is relevant, so they are a good 2nd choice.

video's are good to have as it helps with ranking, however you do need good content to, my own opinion is a balance mix of all three components

I registered for a trial memberships with JAAXY, I thought I will get more information than what I got. I only saw information for one or two keywords. it was not really helpful

Just wanted to let you know that I used Jaaxy and WA keyword tool today and both were running great. Try out some more searches with your free trial and see how it goes for you.

the free keyword tool here can be just as good and it is free

If you promote Jaaxy you get 15 extra keyword searches for each referral you get.

thanks

You don't have to if you don't want to. As a premium member you can use the WA Keyword Tool free of charge. Yes it's not as robust as Jaaxy but it's definitely good enough.

In the 9 months I have been here I have never used Jaaxy beyond my 30 free searches. I only use the WA Keyword Tool and I rank just fine in Google without Jaaxy.

Great! Thank you for this information!

It is up to you, I upgraded right away, and love it :-) and at $19.00 a month I think its definitely worth it .. you don't have to but I would recommend it

Great, thanks Ur the best. I really appreciate all the help you have extended to me :)

ok will do thanks

I will let you know when it gets back up to speed. I use it all the time anyway, so I'll be the first to know :)

Do you think its worth it, just to upgrade now or am I getting ahead of myself? thanks nathaniell

it's up to you. I use Jaaxy almost every day, so I highly recommend it, but I would recommend you wait til any issues subside to upgrade. Tinker with the WA keyword tool for a bit, and maybe check back on Jaaxy in a week or two.

You do not have to upgrade. Jaaxy has been oddly slow these past couple days. You can use the free KW tool here in WA https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/kw_research It's been slow lately too, but at least it's free.
