I saw many things but my website was not one of them. Do I need to get my personal domain for this to happen?

It is always recommended that you have your own URL or dot
com domain yes but considering you are new to building
websites and have just started you will not just yet find your
website on Google this takes time - first you build and add
content (lots and lots of content) this content gets indexed
as you continue to build your website Google then takes you
as a serious author and website builder and you will then begin
to rank and find the web pages on the search engines.
