What In the Actual Heck
Hey everyone! So this is literally my FIRST blog post ever, not even joking! I’m sure one day I will revisit it and laugh, perhaps be a bit horrified at the poor content or whatever it is I will likely have missed. I also had to include this super rad picture of my cat yawning because he looks so fierce, though he really is not. This is also my first 24 hours on WA, having ZERO marketing background and knowing a few standard social media platforms, some shopping sites, how to email, google search as my online experience. Needless to say it’s been a whirlwind. I am 36% complete on my first lesson and will be celebrating completion of my first module with one heck of a Nojito!
A Nojito you say? There is no spelling error it’s a non alcoholic mojito, I am that undrunk mom...who has not always been the undrunk mom so no judgment just living my life in a sober space....though today I sure did miss tequila sometimes!
So what brought me to WA? A need to create sheer chaos in my life... I kid! I chose WA based on some stellar peer reviews, and about six hours of time well spent researching affiliate marketing with my cat who you can see by the picture was super stoked to join me ha! Seeing there was a ton of motivational sponsored ads on a social media page (which I don’t know if I’m allowed to mention it’s name here lol so I’m being pointedly elusive,which btw I really enjoy that term pointedly elusive) so being the daring person I am I clicked... I mean who doesn’t want to make 50 billion dollars an hour, travel by yacht to the grocery store (even if you live on the prairie) because heck with all that money and breezy white robes and brilliant smiles we can do whatever we want right?
Now before thinking I’m cynical I’m not for real I promise! I am actually a firm believer in that we can create the most amazing lives for ourselves, and the big ones for me, lives full of self-love, beautiful community and ENOUGH, really I believe this, there is absolutely always enough for everyone. The internet basically proves this, a growing market of 4 billion people, to harness the collective power of the absolute good that could produce is really awe-inspiring, I digress though so back to topic! And so I chose to dive face first into WA within 24 hours of even knowing what affiliate marketing is really, minus the horror stories and get rich scams of which let me tell you there are PLENTY! WA had a good rep and like I mentioned real peer review last were super important, and so here I am ta da first day survivor!
Today my first day on WA has been a bit of everything, I am absolutely loving the support and connection of the community. It truly does make up for my moments of “what in the actual heck” am I doing here,omg I know nothing....giving birth was easier than processing all this information and I’m only at 36 freaking percent of lesson ONE!!!
I have received messages from incredibly kind people who just want to show support and encouragement and for a newbie who is also that undrunk mom now (no glass of wine to take the edge off) that is a huge deal! So if you happen to be new and reading this I’ve made it through my first day and so can you. There might be tears, a lot of swearing, threats to quit, and possibly tequila (if you’re a fan :) I’m sure I will spend several more weeks/months feeling like the new kid in school and that’s okay because I made it through before and I will with this.
Creating goals and slaying them at 36%!!!

From what I could judge already from your first day here (going premium fast, going through the course already and even saw you in chat but you left by the time I said hi to you) persistent action takers who aren't afraid to ask questions are the ones who succeed. P.S. Just a constructive feedback - on the Internet, people like small paragraphs to read easier, so it's usually recommended not to have more than 3 lines per paragraph.
When you build your website, do keep this in mind - it's a huge deal online if you want to keep your visitors reading your content till the end :)
