I am trying to sign up for Adobe's affiliate program but they require site verification. Does anyone know how to add their meta tags to SEO? Or have another way of verifying?</
They gave me the meta tag code and a file to download but I have no idea where to place either of those.
Normally they would go in the header.php of your site. However, unless you are an Annual Premium member, I'm not sure you'll be able to edit the CSS. You can try going to Appearance > Edit and see if you have access via your Theme.
onmyownterms -- There is no distinction at all between premium members who are paying annually versus those who are paying monthly. Premium is premium.
Yes there is, and I have the Site Support response to prove it. Only Annual Premium members are allowed to edit CSS of themes that don't have it already built in.
What are "themes that don't have it already built in"? A theme's styles are contained in the file "styles.css". That file is accessible for editing through the "Appearance > Editor" menu item.

You can usually do any type of verification manually: How to Verify Your Website With Google, Yahoo & Bing Using FTP That training focuses on Webmaster Tools and Analytics, but the process is the same. Download the file from them, then upload to your website using FTP.

Hey all! I am currently in the process of writing a review on a how to book. I actually own the book and was wondering if it is ok the take images of it and add exerts of it on
Technically, if you're using it for commentary, and you don't reproduce the work in its entirety without adding your own review/comments, then yes, it's fair use. It could even be considered "art", and protected under that idea. However, some people just don't like their work reproduced at all, so may take issue with it. Depends on the person. 99% of the time you're fine to take screenshots and it won't be a problem.
It sounds like that would come into the area of "fair use" http://lmgtfy.com/ ?q=fair+use (remove the space)

I would like to review comparing three products and format it using a pros and cons list. Is this less preferred than writing actual paragraphs?
When I review anything I write out my "advantages" and "disadvantages." After I have listed them in short, to-the-point fashion, I offer my opinion on the item, service, or site that I am reviewing. I even include a rating system.
But I always make sure to do my ratings in the same format each and every time to ensure continuity and consistency so that my readers are use to the format and it doesn't confuse them.
So when you put your format together on how you are going to review something, make sure you stay consistent.
You are more than welcome to take a look. My sites are listed on my profile.
excellent decision, getting things done is a good thing, making a profit by a proven method is just smart, be confident.
Thank you all! I think I'm going to write small paragraphs for each item and then summarize with a pros and cons list.
I would tend to agree with the previous answers. It is always a great way to summarize at the end though!
You could always write small paragraphs and towards the end of the article you could hit the Pros and Cons. Thats usually what I do.
I agree, you will want to flesh each of the pros and cons out, a list may not hold the readers attention. I think that its important to keep the reader engaged and on your page, eventually using your ads, and paragraphs will do this while lists may be counter-productive and sent the reader off.
I think tables can be used too, but only after the reader is engaged in your article. Here is one site that I found:

Is it bad technique to write reviews that have pros and cons list vs. paragraps?
