I recently Re-Subscribed to WA. My Credit Card was lost and I neglected to change the setting when I got another card. I'm back here after four months but I don't see a link to my website, http://truelifextention.com .Do I have to start again or can my website be recovered? I was advised that WA Might have a backup of my files? Where do I start looking?
When do I know exactly that the download is completed properly? I see a bunch of codes and attemptts done by the server dueing the download...just asking...
Once the queue has downloaded the server will disconnect after just a few minutes of inactivity.
I notice now at the bottom of FileZilla window that I have still 90 files in queue, 167 transferred and 117 failed. I guess the system will try to trapnsfer first the ones in queue but then what about the failed ones? Does it try automatically to re-transfer them or should I do it manually in some ways...?
I don't like the sound of having 117 failed transfers. Make sure you back up your content using Tools==> Export then try downloading again with FileZilla. Also that does not sound like enough files - even my small sites have thousands of files in httpdocs.
Eventually I could transfer all the files...I just right clicked on the failed Transfer tab and moved them to be transferred again and it worked. Still some of the files could not be transferred but I repeated the procedure few times and I got it done. I am not sure howe many files I have in total but I guess they were more than 500-600 but not sure.

I checked out your site and it's looking good so far. I also checked out http://dgitaleconomy.com/typ.html and the image link is broken and it's not looking as good as the rest of your site. I was going to suggest using Pretty Links Pretty Links to redirect but you need to fix the page first. So my advice is to stop using HTML and make use of WordPress 'cos it's much easier. Just create a new page and if you want it to be called /typ then either use that as the page title OR use an SEO friendly title and shorten it with Pretty Links. Good luck with it Guido.
I see what you mean Marion. But in this case I need to create a webpage that is not just "a page" of my wordpress site because I don't need to distract the reader with all the other stuff that is on the site (sidebars , banners etc.). That is why I need to use a single page created with Kompozer and have it working properly. If you have any suggestion how to fix this I would really appreciate it. Needles to say just let me know what what kind of information you need to check this deeper. Thanks

Catch Responsive doesn't have the Templates option. Tempera from Cryout Creations (free theme) is similar to Catch Responsive when you use the Presentation Page. That's the theme I was using when I made the landing page without sidebars.
The timer relies on javascript which is in a separate file on the same server called "countdownRedirect.js". The link to the file is in the head section of the code. The file gives permission to use it provided you don't remove the copyright message.
It's getting too complicated, perhaps you could find a plugin that would do the job instead.

Marion hi!I think I have solved all the redirect issue I had...now:
- I have loaded the folder typ using Filezilla with the files that need to run the page
- I have trial tested the same folder and files with another domain I have hosted with Hostgator just to check if all was working fine and it did
- now I have moved the same page into the dgitaleconomy.com domain but it does not work...something is missing.
- the folder typ is loaded with the following files:
typ.html
Large.png
DarkBackgroundWood3D.jpg
countdownRedirect.js
.htaccess
Now I have pointed the .htaccess file to typ.html
I do not really know what else to do...
Can you check please if you see anything weird or missing?

Are you creating a theme with Kompozer? If so...create it and then upload via Wordpress. Go to add new theme and instead of choosing the offered wordpress themes select upload theme...and it'll be all good. Failing that or if its just one page and not the entire theme use ftp to upload it into your site files.

I just need to create a new page (let's call it strategies) to be add to my website so that it'll be just like this: www.dgitaleconomy.com/strategies To do so I could use just wordpress and add a page but I do not want to do that because in that way the page will be surrounded by the side bars and everything else just like any other page in my website. I just want this page to pop-out alone in a white background and I want it to be a subdirectory of my website www.dgitaleconomy.com. To do so I have used Kompozer, and as a matter of fact the page is ready, I just need to host it into my website via ftp. Now, as stated earlier I have tried all the possible combinations to fill in the publishing settings from Kompozer using the ftp details provided by WA but I could not make it work...hope this explain precisely what I want to do... any idea?

Are you able to get into your ftp area? Filezilla?
If so upload to your rootfile public html,
make a new folder in the root/public/wp.html area and upload
Then go back into WordPress and it should be in your make page or theme area *even if it is only a page not a theme.

You'll see most pages and posts use the same theme but others are 1 page stand alones that I have attached via method above

When you get inside filezilla go to .html, or root, thenyou should see public. The others you mention are a subfolder up, so look forroot and click...far left column

In filezila you should log in using your domain name as host, with WA website ftp username and password found on sitemanager. Leave port empty.
The screenshot you sent had all 4 fields empty..
Once logged in you should then see all your website files

Anyway you see the field blanks because all those information are already stored into FileZilla and I have logged in simply clicking the drop down arrow besides quick connect button. As far as I know that should be the same as entering every time the info in those three fields. Bu let me try noe maybe I am wrong...

WA does not have FTP (file transfer protocol). You will need to use the SiteMangaer to access your site. You can also access it by going to the following in your browser

Isn't Kompozer an HTML editor? Are you using WordPress? Adding web development work to affiliate marketing will make it a lot more work! I used to do web dev/design occupationally...
Yes it is. I am using word press but Kompozer allows you to add pages to your domain...but to do so it requires to know where to store the informaiton...that's why I need to know the name of the folders...

Isn't Kompozer an HTML editor? Are you using WordPress? Adding web development work to affiliate marketing will make it a lot more work! I used to do web dev/design occupationally...
Yes it is. I am using word press but Kompozer allows you to add pages to your domain...but to do so it requires to know where to store the informaiton...that's why I need to know the name of the folders...

The system bounces me back saying I have to enter the state in the address box. I do it but it does not go through. Can anybody help please?

Click on the 'Light Blue tab, "Build My Website" on the top left of your WA dashboard. Doing so you will see 'SUPPORT' at the bottom of the list. Submit a ticket and you will hear back from tech support very soon!
