You can upload a PDF to your site and make it so they can download it easily. Just by adding a link to the file. That's no problem.

But for them to be able to edit it, once they have downloaded it, they would need software that allows this installed on their PC. Most free PDF software is just to read PDF's , doesn't allow editing.

Or just use a Word document if the aim is simply to get as many people to be able to view and edit it as easily as possible.

Thank you for your answer.
Darn, though, that's not great news, however for a major feature on my website was to enable visitors to do this.
My site involves helping/guiding people in every possible way (from start to finish) to plan and create a particular type of party/event. My idea was to provide several types of generic checklists/documents for the various stages of planning. I was hoping to provide the feature of being able to edit the document. For instance, one category/part of the information I suggest is knowing who your guests will be. I was hoping to be able to create the category "guests" and they would simply and conveniently be able to interact with the document and add their guests names.
I'm not positive, but I think if I use a word document there may be the chance and problem that they use a different word program than I do.
Hopefully, I have made sense here.
Thanks again, Wayne

OK. it's just specific fields that you need to be editable, rather than the whole document, then it is possible.

You could create what Adobe call a 'Fillable form' PDF, see http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/create-fillable-pdf-forms-acrobat.html

That link and a bit of searching for more on the Fillable forms should give you enough information to decide if you can make it work for your idea.

Thanks again, Ian for another reply. Thank you, as well for taking the time to send me the Adobe link. I will have a look at this when I get a chance and keep you informed if your ok with that.
Have a good one!

Hi there... Welcome to WA :)

1. - It is important to have your keywords in your website title. These you can enter using the all in one SEO plugin. The optimal format is
Primary Keyword - Secondary Keyword | Brand Name
2. - You don't have to have the keyword in the URL. If you however find a keyword that can be branded then that would be first prize. Keywords in URL don't hold as much weight as they used to anymore.
3. - The words in also important for SEO and you should put your keywords in there as well.

Hope that helps and answers your questions.

Thank you.
1. I have what I think is a cool and catchy title, however with none of the optimal format inclusions. If that is the way it must be to capitalize on the search engines and give my business the best possible chance for success, but i find that boring...
For example: We know there are thousands of websites pertaining to dogs. (My niche as I surprisingly discovered was also very popular.) The optimal format title could be Dog Food by "Happy Dog". Sounds boring as jnjm to me. To me a more interesting title would be "Wagging Tails", but this for SEO purposes would not be appropriate. The title I had chosen for my site was similar in nature. (Hopefully, I explained this clear enough).
I guess sometimes we have to bite the bullet whether we want to or not and conform to what the system(internet, in this case) dictates.

This was something I found quickly after a search that pertains to this subject if anyone is interested: sixrevisions.com/…seo-mistakes-with-web-page-titles

I think wagging tails would be a great option for a website... It is catchy and you can brand it as well. Which is great and probably the route it would go.

Your SEO is more effective in the body of your content and the titles of your posts etc. The website URL doesn't have that much power anymore.

There is an error with the link :)

Sorry about that! I'm a rookie at this and thought I copied it right, but I'm not sure why it didn't work correctly.

It would ok then to have a title without keywords as long as I have the keywords in all the the necessary areas?
My initial curiosity about this subject dawned on me when I went to Build My Website to establish what I thought would be a simple task until I was asked what my title is. I perhaps over-complicated this simple procedure and thus, stopped myself from completing this task until I was satisfied as to my queries.

Great question!
That shouldn't effect SEO.
Use All In One SEO to have the keywords maximized as in the lessons, and have the keywords for each post at the end of the post to get them maximized.
It's the end of the URL that needs to have the keywords, the keywords don't have to be in the domain itself.
