I'm currently rolling through the courses... I am now almost done with course 2. I'm diligently creating content, but with every single post I think to myself how I don't want

No better time

If you have categories in mind, I say by all means use them. Not only will they improve the appearance and organization of your site, but they will provide you an outline in your mind that you can use to formulate your content. For example, I use categories to ensure that I write about a variety of subjects related to my niche. Using my site categories, I can see what I’ve written about most recently, and tailor my posts accordingly. Hope that helps.

Yes, building content is the most important task. But organizing your site from the beginning may help a lot in the long run. And it’s not a very time consuming task (at least it should not be). Here is a very good tutorial to help you understand “Categories”:

Thank you so much, I will check it out.

You're most welcome!

The organization of your site is second to creating content because it takes a while to get ranked in Google. You can organize your site the way you want to.

There is training does go over homepages a little bit but he doesn't set it up like what you're saying. If you want to set it up like that go ahead but just don't spend too much time on it. The most important part for your site right now is creating content.

People will come back if you have a bad homepage. People won't come back if you have bad or little content.

It's not too early to sort your posts into categories and sort them out on your homepage. But it is important that you don't spend too much time and get distracted from following along with the course.

Hope this helps and keep up the good work :) You're doing great!

Thank you for your response. I kind of had a set goal in my head, once I have 10 "example" posts, and at least 3 "theory" posts, I would worry about it more.
I have a way of getting sidetracked... I will keep on with the posts for now and do this later. :)

Hopefully this has an easy answer... how do I find my previous posts within our community, so I can see if anyone has replied? I'm afraid I may miss something in my notificatio

Hello Despey, good morning, if you can really make your articles, based on some history of a recognized person, please tell me, can I do that too?

Best regards:
Mario, aka Moty1.

Good morning, Mario! I am not yet sure if my idea of a website built around research is going to be a good idea as far as income goes. I am already wishing I would have started out with a website on tobacco reviews (which will be happening someday in the future), because the research posts are much slower to pound out. But I love the idea of writing up biographies on historical figures. And I'm betting the more you get into it, you will find ways to monetize it.
Short answer: of course you can do that! Sounds fun! Send me the link if you do, I will definitely follow it.

If you go to your profile and click on "MY BLOG" all your posts will appear there. Hope that helps you :)

thank you

I don't know if this is the answer you are looking for, but I'll try. In your notifications dropdown there is a "change options" dropdown. If everything there is checked off, any activity in every discussion you are involved in will show up. Does this help at all?
-Nathan

I think that helps! I hadn't noticed that dropdown box. After all, I found your response, so I think we're all good. Thanks for the help!

You're very welcome. Sorry it took so long to get back to you. Daddy duties! Feel free to drop a line if there's anything else I might be able to help with.
