If i suspend my Premium membership, will my site shut down/cease operations?

How do you move the site exactly? (technically challenged) could you give me an example please?
The best way I have found is to use the clone tool.

After 30 days your site will no longer be active on the web, however if you do decide to return some day, your site and all your content will still be in the system, ready for you to reactivate. WA never deletes anybodies websites permanently..
Looking in the comments doesn't give me any idea on how to cancel a premium membership. That is why I am here. Financially I can't do it right now. So again how do you CANCEL a premium membership?????
If you go to account settings in the left menu https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/membership/manage here you can manage your sub. if you have it set up through paypal you will also need to log into pay pal and cancel the recurring payment through there.

Also, any siterubix sites you have will be deleted after about a month or two

Once you had a premium account you can't go back down to free .. Moreover , I think you have to be actively using the service to promote it .. Same thing with communication ..

However, you can log back in any time after you have cancelled your subscription, by using your previous username and password. When you start paying again, all your information will be re-activated the same as before, less any website/s that you may have moved to another host. ~Jude
Even if you could go back to free, I believe you can only communicate within the community for 7 days.

Hi i like WA. Unfortenately i've been a member of much other same sites, but never learn anything. WA looks different, but i like to know if it's possible to be member ($19 for first month) and the opportunity to cancel the membership the first month directly if it isn't what i expect from the membership. So be a member for only one month?

You can cancel at any time, at your account settings page, it is located at the bottom of the page on the left, under the Jaaxy, and Ambassadorship pages, we do hope you decide to stay...goodluck!!!
You can cancel any time, but you cannot go back to being a free member after that. If you built a website, you can back it up and move your content to any web host you like.

I'd recommend that before you do anything else you install BackWPUp and use it to create a full site backup to Dropbox https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/backup-wordpress-to-dropbox-tutorial You have a 30 day "grace" period from the end of your subscription to move your site to another host. Do NOT just change the DNS until you have a backup, the content will not transfer, you will end up with a blank site at your new hosting service!! You'll then need to restore the BackWPUp backup to your new hosting service. Here's hoping to see you back at WA very soon. :) Rich.

Unfortunately I am going to have to leave WA I can not afford it no more. I have got my hosting already set up. I tried backing the site up to send to them this is not working.
1. Log in to your Domain Registrar account (the place where you bought your domain) and change the DNS setting to point to the DNS address of your new host (you will have to get this from your new host)
2. After the DNS address is correctly pointed to your new host, you should be able to use your backup files to upload them to your new hosting directory files.
Here is a tutorial for how to back up using tools export:

Alternatively, FTP can be used to transfer the files. Your new host may do this for you or they will give you instructions for how to do it. You will have to give them you WA FTP details if they are willing to do it for you. (that would be the easiest way for you).

I am going to Ipage have already got it just can not seem to move the website it is 22 pages

Can some one tell me how to put my widget advertising in my sidebars on my website. all the videos I have watched do not work with wa platform. I can not drag and drop nothing.
Hello Gordi there is a way but I have not mastered it yet it also has a lot to do with your theme of your website.From what I have gathered in my knowledge on playing with this it has sometimes got to do with the structure of the theme layout. I just left them on every page myself. IF I do happen to find out this I will let you know. I do have to tear down another website on line that is not doing me any good and reconstruct it this one is not with WA though it was built for me and it is dead at this point.
First of all, you're not using the WA platform because there is no such thing. You are using the Wordpress platform. Second check and see if your theme supports widgets. I'm pretty sure that it does, but in case it doesn't, you should consider picking a theme that does support widgets.
If you find the widgets section, under Primary Sidebar, if there is anything in there, take it all out.
Here's the secret - you cannot just type something in there and hope it shows. What you must do is look for the text widget and drag that into the Primary Sidebar box. Even then you must use HTML code to display items in the sidebar.
If you don't know HTML, no worries - Click on the link below and use the wysiwyg editor:

Erase everything in the box and create and format your ad, adding any images or links you want.
Once you finish, click on the source button and you will find that the editor has automatically converted your ad to HTML code. Copy the code, then paste it into the text widget.
OR If you have an affiliate product and they supplied you with the HTML code, then just copy the code and paste it in the text widget box.
You ad should now display in the sidebar.
I did that, but then my banner showed on every single page, so I deleted, and added to the text. Is there a way to add banner or widget only to certain pages, not all?

Thanks for your response, It is back up now it was down for about 3 to 5 minutes, I was adding affiliates links, Amazon to be exact things started moving slow and then the whole website went down. I guess it was just a glitch for a few minutes. now it is fine. If you get a chance take a look at my website it is at the top of Google already. it is http://fashiontossedsalad.com It is an online shopping mall. Take a look at the page about wealthy affiliate it is in the menu bar.Let me know what you think
