Slow Learner
Has anyone noticed that I have only completed the first two levels of the online certification course? I am working on level 3. I am spending too much time writing blogs, interacting with other WA members and not enough time on the lessons. But I will get there.
This is embarrassing for me as I see so many that have already finished level 5 and I am so far behind. But, I will get there, slowly but surely like the tortoise who eventually won the race, beating the rabbit who was so much faster.
A great lesson to learn is that it is much more important to do the lessons than to have a low rank number.
My Keyboard is getting better too. Not quite so many misspelled words.
This is 3rd blog for me today but it won't show up til tomorrow as WA limits you to just two blogs per day.
Oops . Must be tomorrow already. If you are seeing this on Wednesday, April 17, it must have tip-toed past the thought police.

Fastest tortoise I've ever seen. If you rush through the training you will miss things and have to go back later. You are on a great pace!

You make an excellent point. As fun as it is to see that lower rank number, ultimately, I would like to think that most of us are here to make a difference in the lives of those we touch with our websites.
Still, it is quite enjoyable interacting with the WA community!

Two blogs a day, and you are the tortoise! Surely you jest.I wish you lots of success with the training but content is king.
We all go at our own pace. Don't feel bad. Congratulate yourself on the progress you're making.
And making connections with people is also.important :-)
We all have our own pace that is best for us. I've re watched a few of the lessons already just to refresh and make sure I get it down.
Don't feel bad about being a slow learner. I learn stuff and then forget it and have to learn it all over again. Must be my vast collection of years.
It is not how slow you go. It is how much you learn and implement. And please don't be another low ranking member who knows how to tell us what to do but not be doing it themselves. I have been around a year and half-built a site, not completing Bootcamp. I needed to learn so I would come in the community and read but not interact. I was trying to help an affiliate marketing group so now it was vital I learned. Now I am running this group, fixing my first site AND starting the site I really wanted to make but did not know how. This time I am following the certification class.. I may work slow but when I am finished they are great every single one of my website posts are indexed. keep up the good work! A step at a time
Thanks Joanne. I really appreciate your excellent reply and agree with you100%. I will never know everything about Affiliate Marketing so will not try to teach what I have not learned myself.
Well done on your progress so far. I wouldn't worry about the speed of your progress through the training or even with your website. So long as you are making some regular progress that's all that matters - marathon not sprint :-). These blogs do get ranked so they will help your online authority anyway. We are all here for different reasons and while we probably all want to make some extra cash it's not the only reason to participate in this , very cool, WA community.

I agree with you 100%. I just read your very interesting profile. I am 85 and not ready to retire yet. I will be praying for you and your family and your adult daughter. Hope she is doing OK.
I don't think you have anything to be concerned about - if you can write a lot of content before continuing with the lesson - you will succeed more than most. So this is not a race, do it at your own pace! :-)
