From 94 to 83 rank
Well, on my way back up to top 50 again. From 93 to 83 now. Hard to believe I was at one time about a month ago to rank 24.
I am re- editing again (221st edit) my flying through the rain article which is now recovered at 8074 words and will re-publish it when I get it sorted out and edited to the proper sequence of parts. I deleted the two parts already published here so you can't read those anymore.
Working on it now so will be published soon. Takes a while to go through 8000 plus words.
Thanks for all the encouraging helpful replies to all who were so kind to reply and give me added tips and suggestions for editing,
The fault was never in site content, just my forgetting how to recover previous editions.

Good job! I guess we all have to remember only one person can hold a particular number in the ranking.
I have a question for you. How do you edit or delete a portion of your blog?

Hi Linda go to top of your blog where you see the gear wheel. click on it , then click edit then after edit go to bottom right where it says publish and click on publish.
You can delete blog by clicking on delete after your click on the gear wheel.

Hi Linda. Are you talking about in WordPress? Just pull up the blog and highlight the portion you want deleted and press delete or backspace. Then update your work.
If you are talking about Site-Content, then Derrence has given you the instructions.

Well done good for you. I am not too bothered about rank personally because I would rather build my list, but as long as I can contribute here in a meaningful and positive way which benefits others I am happy
Thanks Dave. I have got to get back to the only thing that makes money, not rank but website and conversion traffic.
And I agree helping others along the way should be my primary motive for writing blogs. The money will come If I Help others to write good posts for their websites.

Good morning Pr. Derry. Think I got in this discussion a little late, but I'm glad you retrieved your work. Anybody who can write 8,000+ words on a topic has got my attention.
I'm a little confused about the ranking numbers too. Mine were steadily moving down and about a week ago they made a turn around and are now steadily going up. I haven't changed but the numbers have.
However, the most important thing is to continue writing good content and getting noticed by the search engines. Those ranking numbers will never put any income in my pocket.
Thanks Barbara for your good comments. I agree with everything you said. In the process of deleting first two articles on Part 1 and part 2, I went back up to rank 102. When you delete whole articles your rank goes back up higher.
